Because since he's been a kid everyone probably told him how wonderful he was. Spoiled rich brat that's all.
Disagree. His late father was a U.S. Army Special Forces hardass. I'm pretty certain manners and proper etiquette, including tipping, were part of Tiger's upbringing.
Take care,

Tipping is covered in the special forces?
Manners and respect are. Both are key components of tipping.

Tiger's problem isn't so much his upbringing. Rather it was constantly hearing how great he was whether it started as a child or while he was at Stanford.
Tiger basically fell i'll to the Lawrence Taylor syndrome "i'm L.T. damn it !". That's what did Tiger in. The need for the constant stroking to his ego, that he is better and above everyone else.
He no longer was Eldrick Tont Woods but some superhero named Tiger Woods.

See PK, I think your wrong here...Not cheating on your wife would be covered too right?
I knew Tag Heuer wasn't going to drop him, but damn I think they're on an all out offensive to support him. Driving around doing some Christmas shopping today and I heard a Tag commercial on the radio featuring Tiger Woods 3 times.
It's a commercial that until today I've never heard.

I'm sure it would have been. And like tipping, he chose not to follow his father's advice. Especially since the "I'm demigod Tiger" complex that Rod described probably has a healthy dollop of truth.
Tiger isn't the first athlete from a humble, principled upbringing to inflate with hubris.

I love how people in the special forces are now the epitome of politeness and etiquette. The people in the special forces I have been around have not exactly been pillars of morality and manners.

Remember Tiger's dad was divorced twice including from Tiger's mom.
I think Tiger's case is an easy one....nerdy, goofy looking kid grows up never getting any attention from the opposite sex. Becomes rich sports icon and discovers he can have all the women he wants. Especially the types he craved while he was that nerdy teen. Now he's making up for lost time, but only one problem.....he got married along the way and made a vow to one woman.

Tiger and other philandering athletes are no different than the billionaire businessmen or rock stars who sleep around. These people have an insatiable need to succeed, to conquer, to have.
They build companies. They devour companies. They merge companies. They sell out worldwide arena tours. They cut million-selling records.
They want and have everything in their professional path. And some of these dudes can't compartmentalize. To them, a hot chick is something they must conquer. Something they must have.
And when another emerges or presents herself, rinse, wash, repeat.
Strange women are like golf titles to Tiger. Something to have, something to conquer, something to devour.
Some dudes in his position can compartmentalize. They can turn off that ravenous desire for domination in monogamous relationships with the opposite sex. Others, like Tiger, cannot.
We're only stunned by Tiger because he, his handlers and his sponsors built this incredible facade of piety, morality and earnestness around him. It really was THE sports marketing con job of all time. The Tiger Woods House of Mirrors will be studied in sports marketing classes for decades to come.

I wasn't stunned that he cheated.....I was stunned by the number of his conquests and how he had them all thinking they were "special"

Exactly, that is the ONLY surprising thing about this whole thing. Tiger "the product" has been perfectly crafted, calculated, and air tight up until this point. Only "Jordan" can compare. He now probably has Tiger beat since Jordan was fortunate enough to have his playing career come to an end before the TMZ and internet blogging of today. I doubt Jordan's legacy and marketability would survive under todays level of scrutiny.
Doesn't sound like he had to work much for it. These are like groupies, they see a famous name and it doesn't take much.
Maybe Tiger had to pay some attention but his fame makes them receptive.
I just heard an interview with Clarence Cleamons on Howard Stern. He talked about having like 6 women at once. But apparently Springsteen himself didn't go for the groupies.
Tiger had ongoing affairs with some of them? That part doesn't make sense. Why fly one of them to Australia when he can no doubt find other willing women there?
If he started to like some of them, that may say more about the marriage.
I can't believe how all these women kept this to themselves all this time, and now they are all piling on. Mob mentality. I just can't believe that none of this had leaked, and that all of these women all waited for this time to pile on. If Tiger was a single guy, do you think people would still lose respect for the guy being a womanizer, or is that his right as a single man to do what he pleases with who he pleases? Seems to me that being rich would make it even harder to find a wife. Tiger isn't overly good looking, so no doubt his money is what attracts most women to him. I feel bad for the guy in a way, but he made his bed and has to sleep in it. I just think it's kind of unfair how Tiger is taking so much heat for something that countless other athletes have done, but you never hear about it. Maybe he can join a support group with Shawn Kemp, Travis Henry and some of the other famous womanizers in pro sports/Nba.
Although there is no evidence at this point that Tiger used PEDs, if anything ever is substantiated it will be much more damaging to TW's career and legacy than all this adultery/drunk driving/womanizing stuff. I don't think it's too ridiculous to question possible use of PEDs at times other than the recovery from knee surgery time frame. Perhaps he has been juicing for years now. Some of the signs of juicing are certainly there.

DING DING! We have a winner here! Chris Rock has said "you're only as loyal as your options."
Concerning the PED's, once the media starts digging they don't stop.

Like you said, nothing proven yet, but I did noticed some pumping in his arms the last couple of years in comparison to his early career. Maybe the Doc in question can come out with all the facts.
Tiger's problem was he listened to the wrong Dr Dre song. He listened to "F**k You", as opposed to "B*****s Ain't S**t". You would have thought that if he was going to try to be a player, he would have listened to Jordan and Barkley advise. Reading some of the texts and listening to that voicemail, Tiger's really a lame. He doesn't realize all he had to say was "I'm Tiger Woods!! Get over here!!"
And now it's out that Erin is going to file for divorce. At least now he can run around with all the hos he wants.
The PED thing couldn't come at a worse time. Because of the aldultry scandal, the media will surely try as hard as they can to find something on him and PEDs.
His whole life is pretty much turning into a car wreck now.
