The Dolphins crack me up. Seriously, the Bills (and Chargers) can't stop "the wildcat"? Wow. Who would have thought MIA would be an entertaining team to watch this year.

Bears fans should be happy as the Falcons were screwed at the end of the game today by a bad call.

I thought the Fins would be better (not this good, but definitely not the train wreck of last year). Parcells can turn around a team very quickly and he is doing it once again.

The Wildcat didn't beat the Bills. Ted Ginn Jr. beat the Bills, and the Bills did a superb job of beating themselves with two horrific fumbles and a costly holding penalty by Dockery on deep drives late in the game. The Bills' secondary also was atrocious, letting Ginn find every seam with ease, and Joey Porter was a beast at linebacker for the Dolphins.

What the Wildcat DOES do, even when it doesn't beat a team, is potentially confuse and soften an opponent before the game even starts. As Rich Gannon aptly said, teams who play the 'Phins need to spend valuable time in practice to scheme against the Wildcat. So even if Miami doesn't use it a lot or effectively, it does occupy time from the opposing team that could be used to stop conventional offensive sets.

Credit to the Dolphins, as they capitalized on the Bills' numerous weaknesses. But the Bills really killed themselves today.

Take care,

As a Dolfan, Ted Ginn didn't beat the Bills. If any one player deserves a game ball i'd give it to Joey Porter. The Bills could have tied the game or maybe even scored a TD if it weren't for the last fumble.

Bulger has given the cardinals all their points so far.

Bears defense looking like a sieve again.

Big win by the Bears coupled with the Packers loss. Chicago's D has had all kinds of problems this year (mostly stemming from no pass rush) but they do know how to create turnovers.

Orton's ankle injury didn't look good. My guess is they will be firing up the Sex Cannon against the Titans next week.

Too bad the Chefs wasted the best trick play of the year by blowing it against the Bucs. That reverse pass was spectacular.

The one benefit is the return of Sex Cannon posts at the Kissing Suzy Kolber blog. :D

Orton's not out for the year it's not broken so that is good.

Defense is horrible again, I'll say it again throw the slant at Tillman and you'll gain 5-7 yards a play. Vasher should lose his starting job, guy is soft I'd rather go with Grahmn and let him learn at least he has an upside.

Ron Turner you're still a frickin idiot, it would be nice to get a first down and run out the clock once in a while instead of putting the game in this defenses hands.

I'm going to the game next week but with Grossman starting it's gonna be ugly.

Another few wins for the Dolphins and my prediction before the season started (see page 1) that they would make the biggest jump in wins, seems to be a lock.

Nice wins by the Phins. So far the turnaround is making Parcells, Ireland and Sparano along with the entire coaching staff look like geniuses. I still have my doubts this is a playoff team but this teams turnaround is reminiscent of the Jets 1996 turnaround when Parcells took over. It's definitely going in the right direction.

It's fun to be a Dolphins fan again. The one thing they do have going for them down the stretch is a favorable schedule. 3 of the next 4 are against, Sea, Oak and St. L. Plus they have SF and KC left as well. They also catch a break becasue the game at Buffalo in Dec is actually being played in the Dome in Toronto, so weather won't factor in.

Brady Quinn starts tonight!!!

It's about time. For better or for worse, we need to find out what the kid can do.

Denver's a good team for him to cut his teeth on. I think there are arena teams with better defenses.

Also was shocked to see the Raiders cut DeAngelo Hall. He's played poorly but it seems like they compounded the issue by having his salary on their books.

He was a mistake from the beginning for the Raiders. They run mostly man defenses and he's not a good one on one cover corner. He gets all his picks (at least with Atlanta) when they were playing Zone and he got to guess. He was vastly overrated and he was exposed when they put him on a defense that plays 75% man to man.

Sounds like a perfect fit for the Bears secondary :)

It's pretty bad when Matt Millen seems like he would be a step up for Oakland. I can't believe how badly they are managed. And it's even worse considering that Al Davis cannot be killed by conventional means. :P

Looking out my window here at work I just saw the NFL Network's truck leaving town. I'm guessing it'll be a while before they're back. The network execs really gambled and lost on the Browns this year. We've got to be the most nationally-televised 3-6 team in history. MNF next week.

At least Quinn looks legit.

The Browns had a brutal schedule and Derek Anderson returned to Earth. But the team has a lot of talent. Shore up the D and Cleveland should get back to being a winning team.

Well, he did throw the ball over ten yards THREE times. I'm pretty sure most QBs can make it through a game throwing under ten yards 90% of the time. I don't know...he was ok...I wouldn't say LEGIT quite yet. Obviously, even though the D let him down, he didn't do enough to win the game for em. Give him a few weeks.
