The Madden PSP is calling your name. :)

The AI runs and passes effectively. Numerous penalties are called. It's a solid game.

XXXIV wrote:Just got blown out by the Skins going Martz... 42-16 as I lost My mind when Steven Jackson went down for the game. Going almost exclusively with the pass. Throwing 3 ints and fumbling twice.

Playing 9 minute quarters...I ran 68 plays to the Skins 52 for a total of 120....so 9 min qtrs are working really well as I get used to the playbook.

Also lost 3 other players for extended periods to injuries... Bulger 3 weeks. Hall 2 weeks. Avery 10 weeks.

  ...Im having a blast with this game.
Rebounding in the next one against the Cowboys with a 14-12 win.

Steven Jackson showing the world it is possible to run in this game as he rushed for 144 yds on 29 carries. 18 yds being the long.

Again plaing 9 min qtrs.....I ran 59 plays to the Cowboys 54.

EDIT: Just took the Pats 23-10....

56 plays to 47 plays.

9 mins is the ticket.

Had something funny happen.

I started a game w/ me chargers at KC. I won the game 45-3. I was rushing great, had like 132 yards by LT, 2 tds, and passing had long bombs and could do anything. I was thinking they made the Chargers really strong this year.

Then during one of the play choice screens, the side animation had the IQ quiz figures up . My son tells me he played that game, I was like huh? what does he mean.

Then when my game ended, sure enough, my iq level was in the 100s and rookie. So he had played the iq game and I didn't know it and played my game w/ a rookie mode level.

But it was good actually since the game was wide open and good practice to see how to pass and run.

Looks like they fixed online tonight and IT'S A DAMN FUN online game! Saw some of you guys online but played random unranked and every game was fun. Madden and NCAA online this year are excellent when the EA servers are working right.

You know when I play the vikings at home, the game really reminds me of NFL2K1. I think they must use the same lighting as that game or something.

EA EA EA...

Cardinals get a first down at my 36 with 10 seconds to play in the half.
They call a time out. Im expecting either the fg unit for the long kick try or one more play to get closer. What do they do?

They f***in punt....are you f***in kidding me?

Thats embaressing.

I've been playing the PSP version. I was playing last nights game between the Fins and Jags. The first possession of the game I strip the ball from Gerrard from his blindside and score on the fumble recovery. 7-0 Dolphins

Three possessions latter Taylor rips one off for a 57 yd TD. All tied at 7-7

I put it in sleep mode so I can listen to game. I'll get back to it later today. Me likey this years PSP game.

That's brutal. This and out of bounds situation seriously needed to be addressed. The game is a lot of fun to play, but how did they miss these two issues during testing?

Anyone know how to create/host a private game and invite a friend via PS3? Do you really have to create a room?

Do you have him in your PSN Friends List?

If so when you're both online, go to My Madden Online and then Player Hub.

From there, hit L2 and move up or down to Friends.

Then R2 to Friends and your PSN list should show up. You can then highlight and invite to a game.

Other choice is you can go to easportsworld.com and log in there and add his name there.

Then in the Player Hub, you can find him under EASW Friends.

Otherwise, just use email or instant messaging and arrange to meet him there at a particular time in a specific lobby.

Or you can create your own room too.

Ya I posted earlier when I was playing vs the vikes, they had the ball at the 20/30 something for a game typing fg with 20 sec left but ran a play instead of going for the tying fg. Hopefully the patch fixes these things up.

To be honest I don't know. I don't even know what the latest PSP firmware version is. I had to play a waitin game and not upgrade until the hackers caught up and since then everything has been a breeze. I have two 4 gig memory sticks but I would recommend an 8 gig one. They can be had for around $55-$60 now and can hold plenty of everything. The 4 gig sticks I got only cost me $40 a piece. www.psp-hacks.com is a good site to learn the ins and outs of homebrew. Some pretty cool homebrew apps out there.

Yeah that's a problem me as both my fatty and slim PSP's are current with v4.05

I would hate to accidentally brick my fatty as it's my favorite. I'll check out the site, thanks for the tip.

Usually with any hacked device or software your limited to ad-hoc or finding some type of user created lan service. I remember my friends son playing Halo 2 on his modded Xbox via some internet service so I know it's do able.

You might want to check out the site Scoop linked.

They only thing I truly hate about Madden is the inability for defenses to shine.

I have no had a game where I shut down the CPU with a ton of 3 and outs. While I have had low scoring games, I have not seen a game where one side played dominant defense.
