Riveting and beautifully written, acted and shot, as usual.

"That scene" was the most graphic I've ever seen on non-premium cable or network TV, by far. An essential scene that pushed boundaries, which this show has done from its outset.

Seeing my wife's expression during that scene was priceless...

The sound of that scene was as visceral as the sight. Yowza.

That scene worked on many levels. Gus could be punishing the guy for failing to protect the other chemist. He could also be knocking Walt down a couple of pegs from the "you need me" bravado.

Very dramatic but over the life of this show, which is only suppose to cover a year or two of the lives of these characters, there have been a lot of dramatic confrontations, from Heisenburg blowing s*** up in that room, the brother in law fighting against the twins, Skyler telling walk "I f*cked" what's his name, and now this showdown in the lab. There are others of course.

Jesse seems to be like he's game after Gus' display (which even left Mike the heavy shocked). The upcoming clips seems like he's back to his bad old self, which almost got Walt and him killed.

You would think one of these characters would be shellshocked but no there will probably be more confrontations. Breaking Bad hasn't resorted to the gimmick that other shows have been overusing, of killing off main characters -- cough Lost cough. OTOH, there should be casualties and consequences, even for some of the protagonists.

The Curious Case of Curt Flood that debuted on HBO the other night was really fascinating, and at the same time heart breaking. Catch it on a repeat if you get the chance!

Yes and yes. Its very well done.

As has been stated many times, HBO does usually seem to come through in a big way their original programming.

I think the scene in the Denny's scared Walt because it proved Jesse has lost any conscience he gained due to the guilt over his girlfriend's overdose death in their meth binge. Jesse probably thinks he's now a dead man walking because Gus proved he will brutally eliminate even his most faithful lieutenants.

Plus Jesse is a murderer due to his assassination of Gale. How can he have any morals or conscience left, regardless of his intent to save his or Walt's skin?

And ironically, the guy behind all of HBO's quality sports programming, including "Real Sports," the documentaries like Flood and Borg-McEnroe and the "24/7" reality series, resigned this week. Rumors swirl that Ross Greenburg was forced out after 30 years at HBO due to his mismanagement of the network's flagship sport, boxing.

It will be interesting to see how Greenburg's departure changes HBO's sports programming direction. HBO bosses have said boxing will remain the cornerstone of the network's sports programming, which is a relief. I hope it continues quality documentaries and reality shows, too.

Anyone else still watching "True Blood"? I think the series went downhill when they started
with the wer-panthers and the witches and now the "skin changers" or whatever they call
Sam's brother. It seems everybody's got some super power now. Much preferred the show
when it was just about vampires. I don't know why writers always feel like they have to
expand the show's premise to the point where it becomes too convoluted.

I'm very late to the party, but "Louie" is one of the smartest, funniest, most well-written comedies I've seen in this or any era. Brilliant.

Started watching Game of Thrones (On Demand) the other night and I'm enjoying it. I didn't think I would but a few friends raved about it so I figured I would give it a try. I'm really looking forward to season 2 of Boardwalk Empire also.

I can't imagine anyone not enjoying GOT at a least some level. What a brilliant production that is.

Yes, you are. Season 1 was very good but Season 2 has been outstanding. He's really finding his groove with this show this season. Way better than Lucky Louie was. If you gave that show a chance and didn't like it don't let that make you pass on this show.

The "Louie" episode about masturbation last week was EPIC. Insanely clever and funny.

Anyone else here looking forward to "Hell on Wheels" coming on AMC in November? Just caught a preview of it and while I'm not huge into westerns, this one looks like it could be another solid AMC series.

Thought the series finale of Entourage was pretty weak. I've read that there is most likely going to be a movie. At this point, I'm indifferent because of the disappointing finale.

How else could they really end the show without being over the top and cheesy? That's just the type of show it had become in the last three or four seasons. Just mindless entertainment. I didn't have a problem with the ending...and if you saw the last clip with Ari, you know there is gonna be a movie.

I enjoyed the show for what it was throughout its run, but I thought the last season was inexcusably weak. On the other hand, I did enjoy the finale, but only as the best part of a season where it seemed the writers weren't particularly interested in writing.

I agree the finale was very weak and very non-entourage like. But DB is right that the last 2-3 years the show was basically a male sex and the city.

I also agree w/ reviewers out there that the finale was a big preview for the movie, especially the part w/ Ari after the end credits (hope you guys didnt miss that). I just wish the ending would have been more darker.

I don't know. I just thought the last few episodes were very rushed. Seriously, Vince is getting married after 24 hours of knowing this girl? This is a girl who swore up and down she never dates celebrities, and the next minute they're engaged. Turtle is now a millionaire? Really, the only story lines that interested me this season were Drama and his silly show and Ari's marriage troubles.
