I think that was pretty clear from the Sobotka incident last night. You could see the bluebirds circling his head when he came off the ice, yet the trainer did everything he could to avoid even glancing at his noggin until he was off the ice and down the tunnel.

So far the MVP for the hawks has been Brent Seabrook.

Nobody in hockey is a choir boy.. :) He didn't head hunt anyone that I'm aware of.

I agree with you though on the concussion protocols.. I don't think I'd want to be a team doctor.

Wings up 2. I've not seen Boston play so undisciplined in a long time. Can't wait for Col/Min tonight. That's like the Pitt/CBJ matchup in the west.

A lot can still happen in DET.

How do you mean The Avs-Wild is like the Pens-Jackets matchup? Clearly the CBJ are the underdogs going into the playoffs especially vs PIT, yet the other western series is a toss up really.

My comment wasn't directed at anyone here, try reading the espn forums after a game :) I don't want to get in an argument about the hit, I don't think he was head hunting IMO. If it was Keith then I would say sure. I think the result should of been a longer suspension however. I think the way the NHL is officiated and discipline is handed out is a joke.

To switch subjects I hate the new playoff format, these two teams shouldn't be meeting in the first round.

I don't have a problem with it. Blame the Blues if you want, if they didn't tank the last two weeks of the season, this match up wouldn't have occurred in the first round.

It's looking more and more possible the BOS-HABS match up.

Min ties it. 4 of these series may go full 7 games.

Over the last two games, the Wild have outshots the Avs 78-34, but only outscored them 3-1. I'm not sure that portends for the rest of the series.

Sports has the ability to create transcendent moments. Pausing the replay to enjoy the looks on the faces of those fans along the glass from the great state of Northern Arkansas as Toews put away that winner...well, that was one of those moments. :D

Missed the whole game. Will have to watch it on replay later tonight.

But have to ask : after the hawks won in ot, did they celebrate like they won the cup?

Min up in the 3rd, two quick goals to take the lead.

It'll be a fantastic finish this one.

Sharks f'n up.

I enjoy watching this young team but that was offside. Still N. MacKinnon had another great game.

Blues spent what 10 minutes on the power play in the 2nd period and didn't score.
