I have seen a lot of less than 10 foot putts miss that I used to make. Honestly, I thought I was getting to much forgiveness on some of the putts I was making. The misses that I'm seeing now look more realistic and I rarely feel like I make something I didn't deserve to make. I think the developers have made some subtle tweaks to this part of the game, and I really think it is for the better.

Would you say that more of your misses on the shorter putts are due to overpowering them? I three putted from inside 10 feet twice in yesterday's round and it was all on me, overpowering the first putt. I think I don't respect the shorter putts like I should because I tend to be impatient with them. I take the blame for that.

I would love to try the game on a PS5 so I could see what the difference in the controller feel is like. Everyone I know who has played the game on the PS5 and the XBox Series X says the PS5 stroke feels more responsive and proportional. Have you by chance been able to try it on the XBox?
Not overpowering them, just missing the read on the break left or right. Missed a 7 footer on 18 this morning to take the overall lead on our daily lol. Ugh! I haven't had the chance to play on XBOX so can't compare for you. But like you guys on the XBOX, I stopped using my Dual Sense Edge and just use the stock controller for this game.

Most ppl say the xbox controller is the best one for golf games. 2k25 really doesn't take advantage of the PS5 controller. EA PGA Golf only uses the mic to make the sound of the ball going into the hole but that's it.

standard XBOX controller is the go to controller for the last 2 golf game cycles from the so called experts.

I only use the stock Xbox controller but have experimented with the Gamesir G8 Plus . The Gamesir is great with my tablet but nothing beats the stock Xbox. I do find the putting to be much harder than 2K23 but it feels more realistic and those putts of shorter distance you really have to concentrate and take for granted. Today I shot even on the front at the weekend event and thought ok this isn't so bad then bam 46 on the back. In 2k23 I could shoot 15 under with no problem but this game is much harder but hey I've only had it a month and still figuring out all these fitting but getting there.
