Okay, if I'm in charge of the video game world, the first thing that gets banned are protect missions, especially ones where the entire nation of Bolivia joins in to kill one guy, using every mini gun and Apache helicopter available to them. I HATE protect missions, especially mobile ones. (The second thing I'd ban is "radio stations" that feature foul mouthed Cholos and approximately 10 minutes of looped material... Lol) I love this game, but damn I hate these two things.

At least I took out one Unidad chopper last night and also had that epic, "Here, kitty, kitty," moment in which I laid prone behind that rock and used my LMG to cut down about eight Unidad guys hunting for me in about 30 seconds.

This game NEVER fails to satisfy, even on nights when you get slaughtered. :)

Oh, I agree, but when it all goes sideways, it's far more fun when you have three real compadres to cuss, shout, and laugh... Lol. And I'll admit that battle that resulted was friggin epic. The Unidad kept coming, I kept calling in rebel backup, calling in mortar strikes, it got dark, it came a thunderstorm, s*** flying everywhere... :D

The hey kitty moment was funny as hell. All I could see were the purple chevron's all in a row, running up the mountainside, heard you utter that line, and then a rain of LMG fire, and the chevrons disappearing one by one... Lol

Dude's heads pop like tomatoes dropped from an upstairs window when hit with that LMG. Very satisfying. :)

I'm getting a free copy of the PC version with my new EVGA GTX 1080 Ti card. Only problem is, I won't get home to install either til April 7th.....

Wish the game was Win10/Xbox One compatible online.....

So I was bumping up against a mission that I just couldn't get past last night. Was nabbing the Santa Blanca priest at the "Bolivian Vatican", and had to upload a video exposing his lies in the middle of his sermon. Sneaking in was easy; nabbing that bastard when it all went sideways was giving me fits. As was the dramatically increased sensitivity of the soldiers. You miss a shot, game over. You get spotted? Game over. I got into the church and uploaded the video easily enough a time or two, but I was sneaking past all these guards, going in a back route I figured out, but then getting mowed down the moment I stepped into the courtyard.
PK joined, and we had a go a few times. Never did finish it while he was there, but tried a tactic after he left for the night (I am dealing with acute asthmatic bronchitis, and the drug cocktail I'm on has given me awful insomnia-still haven't slept since yesterday morning...lol), and it worked. Just methodically and quietly starting from the entrance of the complex to the back, taking out everyone but the few guys guarding the front entrance to the church (found out if you take them out the others inside notice...fail), sneak in the back, upload the video, immediately tell my guys to open fire, and call in backup. What unfolded next was epic. I raced down, and chased down the priest as he was making a break for the front doors, walked out a side door into chaotic gunfire, but never fired a shot myself during the fracas. I walked that priest right through the crossfire, to the awaiting chopper, climbed in, and took off. It felt just like a John Wick film...lol.
Thanks to Paul for giving me an idea, and for coming in and rescuing me from frustration. We left that mission behind and went on a tear, shooting and looting. It was a great change of pace from the stealthy I had been focusing on for an hour...lol. I just love how there's no one way to skin a cat in this game. But I'm ready for some more 4 player co-op soon. Nothing beats 4 buds screwing up royally, then hitting on all the right cylinders, laughing at each others' goofs, shooting down scores of Unidad choppers, all that. It's the best co-op game I've played since the Division.

Great, fun night of shooting, PK and 10spro! Thanks for jumping in. PK has dubbed me "TC" (from Magnum PI) for my helicopter piloting skills. Last night, PK earned the nickname "THC" for his... Lol. There are a couple videos I captured of his prowess that illustrate the fitting moniker... Absolutely hilarious.

Damn, I almost stuck the landing! :)

Great fun, as always. Nice to have 10spro with us, too!

I wished I recorded that moment he crashed the Heli, Teal. I mean, I had a first seat view literally as I knew he was gonna crash and I jumped out just in time. While doing so, the moment that Copter touched down was an instant classic. You probably jumped out earlier based on the feed that I saw, but what a moment it was. And yes PK, I love it when you shoot like a MAN.

Teal, that first mission we tried took a bit to complete, but well done Sir.

I havent been around much this week to play. Finally had our first baseball game last night and quickly crashed when I got home. Baseball season brings some long days for me. MLB The Show has been taking most of the little gaming time I've had this week. Tough picking between GRW, MEA and The Show when i do get time to play!

  Just saw your feeds Teal. First you guys couldn't see me and then seemingly I was carrying that dude in my back, which I wasn't aware at all. That was some weird sh!t going on earlier when I joined you and PK. But it seemed that I was invisible to the enemy too as I was grabbing everyone in the room and twisting their necks easily. Too bad it didn't work healing you guys, because I did that a couple of times with PK only to see you doing it again 30 seconds after. It would have been nice to complete a mission incognito.

On my screen, PK was up and running already only to hear that he was still waiting to be healed.

Always fun with Mr going 'All Alone' of course and good work for that last mission that took us a bit to complete. How did you get to the generators with the EMP? Just wondering if I need to level up further to get those sweet perks you got.

Damn Pozolero dude, they were just too many bad dudes on that mission.

I stuck to the script for longer than usual last night. Sometimes the respawn points are so far away from your living teammates, too. So I just go rogue. :)

Great fun, great game. Again soon, fellas! :)

Back from vacation tonight, and I've got a week's worthy of ass-kicking to dish out to UNIDAD

Apparently a big patch hit today:

"Most notably, Wildlands will now deliver a set of weekly challenges for solo or co-op play that start anew every Wednesday. You can earn up to three in-game rewards every week, with each season lasting six weeks. The first is called The Rise and Fall of Unidad, while each subsequent season will also have its own specific theme."

Great way to keep the game fresh. Nicely done, Ubisoft! I was in insomnia mode last night after you fellers left, so I kept on playing. I have only El Sueno to bag, and then it's collecting and shooting time, until the DLC starts dropping. So having set challenges that offer actual rewards is a very cool thing.
