I reached level 70 last night as well, and I intend to prestige ASAP (I still have to clear level 70 to do that). I just want that extra custom class slot because I edit them so much and like to play with them. You don't get another custom class slot until you prestige a 3rd time, so I'll probably stay at first prestige indefinitely.

That custom slot is a pretty weak reward. Give me another fourth perk slot and then I'd be psyched for another go-around.

Giving players a reward that big would create a nightmare of unbalanced online games.

You would basically HAVE TO play for 3 days just to get on level footing with all the teenagers/college kids.

I know, I know... it's just that five custom slots is plenty for me and the prestige icon is as much a badge of shame as a badge of honor, in my opinion. :)

I hit 70 last night as well. I'm with Slumberland...I enjoy the game way to much to get rid of it. I really look forward to going through the whole thing again and focusing on an entirely different set of skills, guns, etc.

I might stick around 70 for a bit to play with the AK, but after that I'll be happy to prestige and get that extra custom class slot.

I still can't believe I'm at level 70. I really disliked previous COD games, but this one has me hook, line and sinker.

Weird that three of us dinged 70 at the same time.

I continue to have my love/hate relationship that is almost perfectly balanced, which is why I can honestly see myself never touching the game again or playing a few hours 5 nights a week.

I don't know how everyone got there so fast... like I said, I'm at 54 with about a day and a half of playtime logged, but it feels like I've been playing so much that I've got that gross addict feeling... projects shirked, slinking into the game room at the slightest opportunity, etc. And yet I guess I haven't been playing that much after all.

I'm just now remembering that I waited a couple weeks before getting the game though... back when I was grossed out by the airport mission. You know, from that single player that I haven't touched.

My two biggest gaming obsessions right now are MW2 online (so I can catch up with you anti-social obsessives) and the DSP Madden league. I have Dragon Age and Assassin's Creed 2 sitting on the shelf, hardly touched.

You guys sleep much? Really, I think I am at level 48 and I would love to just put a few more hours at the game. Unfortunately for the ladies at home, the noise is to overwhelming and it's the only game I can't blast it out loud.

What happens in Prestige, do you get to keep the weapons, get new ones?

There's a terrific review of the PC version in the new PC Gamer magazine. Two months too late, but I guess they couldn't help that.

No new weapons, there are new challenges and titles available, plus another custom class slot.

You have to re-unlock perks and weapons again.

So I did prestige, and surprisingly the only thing I *really* miss is cold-blooded. No fun joining a match where your side is losing at the time of your join, and you jump into a team getting massacred by air-support. I normally always have some sort of anti-air (cold blooded + launcher) class that I can use in those situations, and not having one stinks.

Other than that, I'm having fun using some weapons and perks that I hadn't used in a while.

I agree. Having the SCAR, FAMAS and M4 is all I really need.

Sometimes I like weapons like the TAR, or the blast shield to use with the riot shield but you burn through those early classes pretty quick.

I'm on the cusp of getting Bling back (level 21), which is a nice option to have for some classes, and once I get cold-blooded (25) and the stinger (30) for anti-air stuff, I'll barely even notice missing anything.

Yeah, not having cold-blooded and a Stinger is really the only huge drawback...although I do miss the auto shotgun for when I'm facing a bunch of souped up knife runners. One Man Army is another one I didn't realize how much I would miss, but its certainly not essential.

I'm also enjoying using a totally different arsenal than I did on my first run. There are still quite a few that I haven't touched that I can save for my 2nd prestige......................(maybe)

Just hit my 2nd Prestige this evening. A lot more BS in this game than in CoD4: MW, but still very much insanely addicting online.

The last 3 CoD games have been my WoW.

I am definitely hooked. I think I've played every day for a week, something I haven't done with a game since the first Rock Band. Even with all the idiocy I get that "one more match" feeling. I've also finally gotten the hang of the game and the maps, and my KDR has started to be above .500 a lot more.

I've become a big fan of the Vector. Low recoil, very accurate even from mid-range, and with rapid fire, it is a beast at point blank range.

I should be rolling over to my 3rd Prestige soon. Only thing I hate about doing it is losing my kill streak rewards. Getting my streaks and not having the nuke is definitely a bummer.

The way I look at it, this game has to last me 2 years until IW does another. So prestige is not too big of a deal. It is safe to say the next Call of Duty will be screwed unless IW does their hand in it.

Treyarch did a good job with WaW,and had great post-release support.

MW1 should have had more than the one map pack.

MW2 is fun as hell, but matchmaking is severely hosed, glitch games continue to occur, and there are a ton of silly,semi-unbalanced things going on.

The 'hate' side is starting to win over for me. At level 60, it's feeling like a mindless grind. I dipped into the single player for a change of pace but reading Dick Cheney quotes isn't my idea of a good time.

It's been fun, but I'm getting rid of it... will Gamefly it again if I ever feel like getting to 70.

Time to finally finish Mass Effect.
