Over 26 million viewers watched Colts-Broncos over the weekend. Record Primetime for October.

Tannehill doing his best Tannehill and completely blowing this game. Completely dominated for 30 min and now he's going to sh*t per usual.
Re: NFL 2013-14
There is still lots of time but Lions shitting the bed Lions style. Something mentally wrong with that team.
Dolphins just got the goodell chicken s*** call of the day called against them.
Jags need to be relegated at seasons end.
oh and the redzone idiot thinks that Lance Alworth played for the LA Rams. The guy shows his lack of knowledge and insigfht to me for about seven hours every sunday.

Three calls that were absolutely ridiculous but it wouldn't have mattered much if Tannehill was a decent qb.XXXIV wrote:Dolphins just got the goodell chicken s*** call of the day called against them.

Freaking skins ruining the draft pick....They are looking good. I can see them going on a big run and winning that division.
Falcons looking to be saying good bye to their season.
Jets sucking it for their biggest fan, the biggest wimp and waste of time on radio espn.

So Brandon Meriweather that's one classy, educated man.

I took the Rams and 11 tonight.
Re: NFL 2013-14
Dud of a game, filled with stupid penalties. Seahawks are not having a good night offensively and Rams are just doing enough to keep it close. Kept flipping between the WS and Canucks game instead.

Yeah too bad there is nothing between the knees and the heads to target. But I get it, gotta stick up for your own and all.dbdynsty25 wrote:He went to the U...of course he is.Danimal wrote:So Brandon Meriweather that's one classy, educated man.And he's actually right on all accounts anyway. Knee targets and wife beaters. He's 2 for 2.

Re: NFL 2013-14
The only problem is guys duck...I feel bad for all defenders, not just the U guys. Sucks to aim at a dudes mid section and the guy ducks and boom, fine/suspension. It's all lame. And Marshall is still a wife beater.Danimal wrote:Yeah too bad there is nothing between the knees and the heads to target. Re: NFL 2013-14
Ah I see the problem you think I am sticking up for Marshall. That is incorrect because I think he is a tool who manufactured an excuse to deal with his past transgressions and when he is having a bad day on the field.
My problem was the throw it in the NFL's face statements. He was basically saying "Ok want to suspend me watch how many peoples knees I take out". I think the rules need adjustments too, RB and WR lead with their head and the defenders get the penalty. WR can do WTF they want to DB's now with no calls.
However there is a very easy line to draw when someone is doing things the right way and ends up with helmet to helmet and the deliberate shots Meriweather is taking.I really think the is plainly obvious to see, at least IMO.

Re: NFL 2013-14
Oh no, I couldn't care less about Marshall...or your defense or lack thereof of him. I have a problem with the NFL and people who think all these guys are taking deliberate shots. Half of Earl Thomas' shots last night were him just launching his body in the air and hoping he hit something. Had one WR or RB lowered their head a little bit, they'd be done too. I think that's a safeties mentality...they launch themselves to hit hard. That's Merriweather's issue as well. The hit on Lacy on the sidelines, his head was chest level until Lacy lowered his head. Same thing with the guy who hit Finley this weekend...Finley even said, "I lowered my head so he couldn't get my legs". The safety got fined and flagged. It's BS. THAT is my issue.Danimal wrote:However there is a very easy line to draw when someone is doing things the right way and ends up with helmet to helmet and the deliberate shots Meriweather is taking.I really think the is plainly obvious to see, at least IMO.
Re: NFL 2013-14
There is absolutely no defending Merriweather. Everywhere he's gone, without exaggeration, he's averaged two hits per game that were discipline-worthy. He's a cheater and careless. A union worthy of the name would drum him out of the game, but the NFLPA has been a shell filled with naught but hot air for decades.
And his response about Marshall is a non-sequitur. The league doesn't (despite Goodell's efforts) get to police the lives of the players off the field and doesn't get to choose what off-field behavior it has to accept in its players. It does have that power with respect to on-field misbehavior, and that's where Merriweather's is a serial cheat. The only good news is that he concusses himself at roughly the same rate as others, so at the very least he's almost certain to deal with CTE at some point and end up a forgetful, drooling mess.

I agree with Rob. Defenders who have been coached to launch themselves like a missile should be able to be coached to wrap up instead. Maybe it will not be as effective but that's what the rules are.

Re: NFL 2013-14
You still have to lower your head to wrap up. THAT is the problem. You stick your chin up, you're gonna get your neck compressed like that dude on the Seahawks last night on that last goal line stand. Dude was WOOZY and he attempted a tackle with perfect form. It seems to me, everyone should be banned from lowering their heads...universally. Or we need to switch to flags. Either or.Brando70 wrote:I agree with Rob. As for team. What a waste of an awesome defensive performance. Sacking them 7 times while allowing only seven first downs. Happy to see it and sad to see it wasted.
shotty you are a fool. 9 points on 4 trips to the red zone?!...and the last two play calls at the goaline. WTF!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....disgraceful!
GO RAMS!!!

After the MNF snooze fest, SEA loses the services of Sydney Rice for the season. Where the hell is Percy Harvin?
