I enjoyed last night's episode. Nothing significant happened plot wise, but the Hound was hilarious and it was otherwise engaging.

You definitely need to give The Hound his chicken the first time he asks for it.

The entire chicken dialog had my wife and I in hysterics. Fantastic scene

I pretty much say this after 90% of GT episodes, yet I always enjoy them. More so when dragon chick is naked.

Great returning episode.

Best scene: the beatdown by the Hound, with a late assist from Arya

Funny moment: That Joffrey statue....lol.

How about that new cannibal tribe?! They were "eating crow" literally!

That new guy replacing Dario is lame. The previous guy had a lot more personality and appeal for Dany.
She seems only annoyed by this new guy.

As someone I read somewhere said, "I know the original actor left, but did he take the wig and razors with him?"

I admit to being somewhat shocked at the moment. It's one thing to recast a character, it's another to basically reboot his appearance and manner at the same time... I don't envy the guy who got the role

My initial reaction is that the new Daario doesn't nearly have the "I'll do whatever the f*** I want" charisma the original guy had.

Right. A cockiness that the new guy just doesn't seem to exude at all. At this point, he seems pretty run-of-the-mill where Daario 1.0 managed to stand out amongst the rest of the cast.

Some people are very mad on twitter about people posting "spoilers" about tonights episode. If it's from a book that is 4 years old is it really a spoiler? :)

I think that since the show is about 100x more popular than the books, it's a legitimate beef. Although I'd never expect anything but spoilers on twitter anyway.

I'm pretty ambivalent about the ending itself.

The book is actually 14 years old by this point. Still, most are show watchers who don't know the book, so it would be dick-ish to spoil the TV show.

That said, once a 'water-cooler' show has aired lived, most spoiler complaints are null IMO.

Unlike the Red Wedding last season being a climax to the season, the "Purple Wedding" here is the driver of this season, like Bran pushed out the window in season 1. At this point it's just confusion and conflict.

What a fantastic episode. The way they ramped up the tension during the wedding was perfect. I also loved the contrast between Joffrey's sadism and Ramsay's. That episode had some of the best performances in this entire series.

I also had to pause for laughter during the Bron and Jaime scene. :D
