Feyenoord 3:2 Roma
Totti 3'
Castelen 13'
Boussaboun 51'
Montella 87'
Kalou 90+'
Dellas (caution) 67'
Roma's bid for an undefeated season ended bitterly with a 3-2 defeat in Rotterdam. In a highly entertaining match featuring fluid attacks from both sides throughout, Roma's late equalizer only stood for 3 minutes before it was trumped by a stoppage time goal from Kalou on a wicked deflection.
Totti got the visitors started early, calming rounding the keeper to go up 1-0. Castelen got one back for the home side 10 minutes later, barely getting his toe on a through pass, sending a changeup towards net that baffled the Roma keeper. After the half, Boussaboun, playing in place of a out of favor Kuyt, scored an excellent goal, finding the corner from 21 yards. It looked as if the goal would stand, but in the 87th minute Montella was free behind the Feyenoord defense, again rounding the keeper to tie the game 2-2. It was all for naught however, as a good run down the right side by Castelen resulted in a cross to an unmarked Kalou at the top of the box. Kalou struck a firm volley, but the ball seemed destined to go wide until ricocheting off defender Xavier and back across the goal mouth and in.
Even in defeat however, Roma has already clinched the championship by a margin of at least 7 points. Congrats.

Scoring:
Lazio: 26' Muzzi, 53' DiCanio, 86' Pandev
Borussia Dortmund: 90+ Rosicky (PK), 90+ Senegie
Missed PK: Rosicky 31'
Lazio assured themselves a place in the top flight next season with a fortunate victory over a star-crossed Borussia Dortmund side. The German team was wildly unfortunate, missing a penalty, hitting the woodwork and generally finding themselves unable to turn their superior possession and technique into goals.
Lazio opened the scoring with Muzzi's excellent header of a Liverani free kick which found the upper right corner. Dortmund had the chance for a quick equalizer from the spot, but Lazio's keeper was equal to the challenge. The remainder of the play was dominated by the German squad, with DiCanio's tasty header and Pandev's slotting home of an errant back pass yielding goals for Lazio against the run of play. Dortmund made things interesting by roaring back with two goals in injury time, but ran out of time before finding the deserved equalizer.
Sully, that was just some plain horse$hit luck bro. You outplayed me pretty much top to bottom and I was just damn lucky. Good luck with the remainder of the season.

Are these last games going to happen? No one has asked for an additional extension as yet here on Saturday.
Sully still needs to play Naples, and in the match that will really matter the most and determine who is relegated, Mo. Boy do I wish there were a spectator mode!!
In the 2nd Division, Jimmy and Bubbaball still have to play, db still has yet to play any 2nd half games, and the same gos for Sudz.
If I don't see anything regarding extension requests, on Monday morning forfeits will be posted and the first season will be finished.
Let's keep going forward, guys. Next week we do team selection, and the first-half schedule for Season Two will be up by a week from Monday AM.

Galatasaray and Borussia Dortmund played today in an all-or-nothing relegation battle. Who said the bottom of the table can't be exciting? Ayhan Akman's 32nd minute goal reflected early dominance by the turks, but Borussia Dortmund would not go down without a fight. Galatasaray had a few more good chances to widen their lead in the first, especially when Necati Ates' shot slammed straight into the crossbar, but that would be the last of the offense generated by Galatasaray, as they played most of the second half on their back foot, taking only two shots in the second frame. Regardless of Dortmund's relentless attack, Faryd Ali Mondragon parried away most of the german strikes, with the rest going wide.
