* Fixed infinite gold issue on some dead NPCskevinpars wrote:Oblivion patch available - you will be prompted the next time you play when connected to live. No idea what it fixes - probably all of those unlimited gold cheats that I have avoided to this point.
* Fixed an issue with duplicating items and unequipping the bow
* In 'Till Death Do They Part' (quest), the Count no longer rewards player with gold more than once

Hopefully will bring some more interest to this title, I'm always looking for a game and no one is on.

I'm not sure where to post this, so I'll just do it here:
Since I got my replacement 360, I've started having a new and weird problem. Sometimes when I try to boot up Table Tennis, the machine thinks it's a DVD and displays a screen telling me I have to place the disc into a Xbox 360 console
.
It seems to have happened after I had played WE, a back-compat game. Last night, however, it happened even after I powered down the machine, and then it also happened with BF2. Another power down, an attempt to boot Oblivion, and everything was back to normal. Table Tennis was recognized and everything was fine.
Very strage. I am curious, has anyone else ever had this kind of issue? If so, did it turn out to be something requiring repair work on the machine? Or, is this something new, related somehow to the latest dashboard update? If more than myself are reporting this new issue after the update, my bet is on that being the culprit. One hopes if so, they will patch it soon.

I had the issue with my first two 360's, it required a replacement as it is the DVD drive. My first one it would happen after an hour of play or more. My second happened everytime I played a game. If you restart enough it will work, but get it replaced, and f***in yell at them for sending you a broken console.
Sorry to be the bringer of bad news.

Thanks for the heads up, but man is this DL taking forever. Oh well, maybe I'll be able to play the update maps tomorrow night instead.

Well, here's another weird issue with my 360, this one involving a back-compat game, SC:CT.
It seems that 'something is wrong with the update' for the versus part of the game on my 360. It tells me that in a text screen, and continues to say the 'Xbox will automatically update on the next sign-in.' The problem is, even though there was an update to d/l in the solo game, which i d/l'ed with no problems, I keep getting that text screen telling me something is wrong with my update for the versus mode. It doesn't try to do any update, it just tells me it will do so on the next sign-in. But I can't get as far as a sign-in in the versus mode.
Frustrating, to say the least. I hope the game still works on my Xbox. Any ideas how I could solve this problem on the 360?
As to the problem where the machine thinks 360 games are DVDs, it seems to happen only after I have played a back-compat game. Otherwise it doesn't happen, although on a couple of occasions I've had it recognize a game but tell me that I need to clean the disc and that it can't read it. I guess this is indeed a DVD drive problem, but I am hoping it isn't fatal. What is odd is that once it does load a game, I've never had any problems at all, no weird slowdown when loading off the disc etc.
