Are Dynasties good or bad for sport?? (long)

<BR>I don´t think hockey can afford to go PPV. Basketball and baseball can´t either. NASCAR could and possibly the NFL but in the end it won´t work. Enough people will say screw this and not watch. If sports go PPV, I think that will be the beggining of the end of modern sports. We could see definate rise in extreme sports, and other free sports.

<BR>Atleast with it being on the TV, fans can turn it on and turn it off if they aren´t all the big on the sport. But if it goes PPV many borderline watches just won´t dish out the cash. Or we´ll see increase of beer sales and pubs and bars on Sundays. That´s not a bad thing either.
