Last year OK was labeled as #1 for the entire year and all you heard about was how it is just a battle for a distant second because unstoppable OK has just pounded Texas A & M 77-0.
I do not recall them getting unanimous first place votes after the A&M game. Of course I guess those "people" not voting OU as #1 do not count right?

What's wrong with Texas Tech by the way? I love them and I'm from Cali... If I was out there in Lubbock, I wouldn't be wasting my time lusting after OK.
Most of my family are Sooner and Cowboy (OSU) alumns. I grew up watching OU and just because you live in a city or near a team does not mean you have to root for them. I have been to my share of Tech games and have nothing against them. Of course you love Texas Tech and live in Cali yet rip on me for being a Sooner fan living in Texas. And I am the dense one?
