John, Can u change the tournament settings? There is a 2 MIN time limit for each hole! I can't play like that. It's just not fun when you are racing the clock like that. I tried it and got very frustrated and just quit. 5 min per hole would be more like it. 2 min is rediculous. I am not playing this tournament if we have a 2 min limit per hole. Sorry, just not fun at all.

Jack,

Tell me how to change it. I never saw an option for that.

I guess the tournament window is closed.

XSN is being more of a hassle than a joy to work with. It should allow anyone to enter until say two hours before the tournament is to end.

I got XBL to play links and it turns out Links XSN is really crappy. I'm hoping Tigers gameplay is decent so that we can have some fun online tournaments.

2 min per hole is really tough.

I just checked thru the FAQs on the XSN website and it doesnt seem like u can change it. They suggest holding down the A button after the shot to speed through the effects. I guess I'll give it another try.

Jack, what happened? It gave you an "inc" already. Was that because you blew the 2 minute time limit? Did you try to play a round yet?

I played some holes then quit because I couldnt handle the 2 minute limit and was getting realy pissed. Does that mean I can't continue in this tournament? I'll still play the course with you if u want and we can see what happens.

I shot 16 over yesturday. Man it was brutal but I loved every minute of it.

How long do you think the tournaments should last, 4 days? And should they start on say a Thurs and run to sunday. Let me know if you guys want to see any changes made to the dates and things.

Well, since you ask...

If you're doing one tourney/week, just make them 7 days long. Give us time to do the rounds when we can over a 7 day period, rather than restricting us to Thursday -> Sunday.

Thanks!

Sorry guys but I gotta pass on that OM DC tourney. It's just silly. I started the first round and found myself trying to roll putts up 90° slopes, ending up with like a +16 after three holes. I'd rather just pick up on each hole and be done with it.

I'm definitely up for play on real courses, though.

I don't know why people don't like OC. It's not a real course but then again its not real hitting 100% of the fairways at St. Andrews.

I think its a good challange. Its not fair but I keep playing it in hope that I can break par.

There are currently 8 players registered for New South Wales. Good Stuff.

I think I'll create a website to track our results. That might be fun.

If anyone would like to join there's still time.

PS Does anyone have the Gallery. Is that any good. Just to have variety I thought it might be worthwhile to get the addition courses. Let me know if we shoudl do that or if we should just stick to the default courses.

I have both add-on courses and they're not bad, but unfortunately don't add a whole lot of variety. Of the two I do tend to like Kap better, but if you find yourself playing a lot they're both probably worth the ten bucks.

Dang... I missed the signup deadline. I had to work all weekend so I got a bit distracted. Probably best that I did though... the OMDC course turns me into a quivering mass of poo.

Good round Jack. Word of advice to everyone, make sure to note the green conditions when you log in the tournament password, since there doesn't seem to be any other way to view them once play starts. The exploratory green shots cost Jack a few strokes since I forgot to look.

Also, we are playing with a max of 7 skill points, right?
