damn, i hope thats not what i have to look forward to, sneaking in my gaming time so my woman doesnt get pissed and make me watch tv for women? haha dont get it twisted, at this point in my life that isnt me, maybe when i am 30 and i feel like i cant replace the girl i have then i will let her castrate me like some married men do, but for now its fletch world baby 24/7 haha
and by the way no im not married but ive had the same gf for 4 years so we'll see.. for now its me that says what goes down, but women tend to be like that till u marry them then they act like a dog that forgot everything it learned, and become total nightmares... at least according to my dad, fletcher sr haha

dont get it twisted,

I'd have no problem with my future wife making more money than me...

Also, IMO, money and material things alone don't make you happy, in the long run. I sometimes wonder how happy people who brag about their possessions and money really are, depending on the person.

Chances are, they're not. Otherwise they would keep their damn pie-hole shut and not try to justify their existence through their toys.

Mgo,

The wife and I both think my friend is insecure for whatever reason. They've moved three times in the past five years, each time to a bigger and more expensive house. He bought a some Nissan sports car, sold it for a Mercedes. Sold that and now he has some snazzy Acura TL. Bought the wife a van, sold it because it's not "hip" enough. Then bought her a Tahoe, and sold that for an even bigger SUV because it wasn't big enough. I can't remember what it was. Then he said that car was too big and now has settled on an Acura MDX.

Honestly, I kinda feel sorry for the guy. He's obviously trying to keep up with the other "snobs" that live in his neighborhood. This is f'n St. Louis dude. Sure, every city has huge houses and snobs, but damn who gives a crap what kind of material possessions you have. It's not like we're living in Hollywood!

It's sad but I'll always remember his life being about money and materialistic things. He truly is a nice guy and would do anything for his friends, but unfortunately his egotistical attitude overshadows his kindness. It's a shame.

I've been watching the boards for some time trying to gain a few pointers for MVP. I'm trying to figure ouy why I can't pitch on Pro Level and I learned more about the important things from this posting topic. I 've been feeling ashamed that my wife gets raises while I take wage freezes and concessions. It blows my ego making less. We both work with kids. She's a teacher and I work with juvenile offenders. At least I can feel better about something.

Now please somebody explain to me why I get rocked on pro and my 15 yr old gets K's throwing in the red. Same team same slider settings.

Welcome BJ!!! Maybe we'll just stick with Basketball Jones. :P

You need to mix up the placement of your pitches as well as the speed of them. If you keep maxing out the speed on every pitch, not only will you tire your pitcher out faster, but you will make it easier for the batter to hit the pitch since he knows what to expect. If you consistently stay away from the red zones then you will also be too predictable.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm enjoying MVP but eagerly await the PS2 release of ESPN Baseball. It's due out the week of my wife's birthday so I need to come up with a great gift as a diversion for buying ESPN.
