Holy s***, I'm not a Star Wars guy and I was totally impressed with the Battlefront gameplay. I can only imagine the erection Star Wars fans have right now

F Bombs galore at Ubisoft presser . South Park guys dropped about 5 within minutes of coming on stage.

Ubisoft announced that when you purchase Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege for Xbox One, you'll also receive Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 for free.

Not anymore details but even if straight 360 ports I would love them. Two of my most played games ever.

RB6 Siege could be the next great DSP Poker Night game. There's hardly a soul here who hasn't relished the RB6 series or isn't stoked out of their brains for this game.

I can't wait for Siege.

Sony's presser has been a dud so far. Nothing has impressed me at all.

New Xbox One UI for sometime after Windows 10 drops in July. I think this largely delivers on what I had hoped the XB1 with Kinect to be. In particular at the end when they show Cortana telling you who is online and setting up a party. Click the link for a look at the UI in action.

Microsoft demonstrated Cortana on Xbox One today, and the commands are a lot more powerful than what exists today. Saying "Hey Cortana, record the last minute and share it to my activity feed" will publish a game clip straight away. Likewise, "Hey Cortana, start a party and invite Amanda" will invite a friend into a voice chat all without having to lift your fingers from your controller. Cortana appears in the top left of the interface and works in the background. It's not clear whether you'll need Kinect to use Cortana, or whether a headset will work, but the integration looks impressive.

Apparently plenty of people give a f*** by the reaction and post announcement buzz. In fact the only people that seem to be bitter are Sony diehards. As an owner of both consoles twice over, I'm happy to see MS continue to pull out the stops. If I can play NCAA14 again I'll be very happy.

I missed it for obvious reasons but skimming the news I'm not sure what the big thing was, Shenume? I thought those games sucked to begin with.

Shenmue was cool and innovative -- in 2000. There's nothing even remotely novel in 2015 about that game series' features now. It would be just another RPG-adventure game if released as just an extension of the Shenmue tale.

As someone who never played Mass Effect, I'm looking forward to playing it on the Xbox One. I'm not sure what other games interest me, but this is surely one.

I for one was quite impressed with the Sony show...

I mean, what better way to open it, than with a real demo of Last Guardian? I realize a lot of people probably don't care by now, but there's a reason people have been so disappointed with all of the delays. The game was breathtaking and is definitely the spiritual successor to ICO/Shadow of the Colossus. Going to be epic.

On top of that, you had a stunning demo of Uncharted, featuring a hugely destructible world, massive environments, etc...

Other interesting/promising stuff included No Man's Sky of course, Media Molecule's "Dreams" which I don't even understand but because I trust those guys so much, feel it will be a really cool experience. Original IP's such as Horizon, re-makes like FF7.

Not sure what else they could have done! And I agree with db on the backwards compatibility stuff. To each his own though...nice if it was a feature from the start, but I find it nice to have in the first year of a new console, but that's it.
