Yeah, yeah, I know...but I gotta know that this thing has legs to make it worth the trouble. Money is NOT plentiful these days.

Don't care what track/car combo it is, but Touring Cars will likely provide the best racing to start with.

I'd be in if I didn't have to rise to go to work at 4:30 AM. This game is a hoot in multiplayer from what I've experienced in random races so far though!

Very much enjoyed the Poker Night revival last night, boys. This game is so well suited to fun racing with a cool variety of cars and courses.

Let's make this a regular thing! Tuesday nights at 10 work great for me. Hope that's the same for everyone else.

Thanks!

Really enjoyed the racing, but I've gotta say--either my connection was absolute crap last night, or this has some seriously weird stuff going on in the online code. Throughout the night, I would see pk literally jump 25 yards in front, then back to my bumper, then AI cars would wiggle around a bit and jump around the track. It looked like online code from 2002 or something, I haven't seen skipping like that in YEARS. It didn't hurt the driving and the good times, but in some of those races, getting a "ghost" Paul appearing out of nowhere, then disappearing back into the distance really screwed with my head!

Speaking of which--why the hell do the cars sometimes ghost when they're near you, and other times they stay fully visible?

Some odd goings on, but nothing to prevent me from showing up for every GAS poker night from now on

And I reiterate--when your car develops a pull to the left or right and you're using a controller...I bow down to you guys who deal with that. I felt like I was driving on a razor blade when trying to use the controller that last session. Couldn't keep it straight, couldn't turn it, couldn't stop it. You guys have some serious skills to do that with a stick. I was listening to Alex talk about his car pulling to one side and I'm thinking it's pretty mellow with a wheel. You just learn where to hold the wheel for "straight".

But holy s***, swap that out for a controller and you're in for a rough ride!

Something may have been wonky with our connections last night, as I have raced this game with randoms and enjoyed bedrock connections with no warping. But I also have raced in some random rooms with vicious warping.

I think cars become transparent momentarily after resets due to crashes causing terminal damage. They may go transparent while serving penalties, too, so human and other AI drivers don't ass-ram cars slowed while serving penalties. Most of those cars were AI cars last night.

As for using a controller with damaged steering, that's how us peasants roll. Literally and figuratively in XXXIV's case last night! :)

Let's race again next Tuesday! :)

That was a blast from the TOCA past.

Had some fun intense battles in the mid to back with Don and Vader ( get away get away get away :)). Even one with PK at the front.

Game is much more forgiving than F1 but when your steering goes orange to red you got trouble. Had to retire in a couple of races cause the car had too much damage to compete.

I am up for next tuesday. Hopefully its up for me.

Glad to hear you guys had a successful Poker Night :)

I got my Gamefly copy yesterday, so I am going to try and catch the next one. Gotta go dig out my headset.

Can't believe it!
My Gamefly copy of Autosport keeps freezing when it tries to load a race.

Guess I have to send it back and hope they have a better copy?

10:00pm EDT again tonight? I proved to be an incompetent host, so feel free to step up, anyone who can join. I would love to try Indycars at IMS as I have had some very fun AI battles there.

Love to be there again this week, but once again, I have to rise at 4:30 AM EDT. I'll be working nights, Monday through Thursday the two weeks after this one, but then I'll have four consecutive Tuesday nights off for GAS!

Sorry, The Donald. No dice tonight. Must get up at 4:30 a.m. for a flight to Indy to work the IMSA race Thursday and Friday.

I'll be home all next week. Hope we can race next Tuesday.

Drive it like you stole it, boys!

Knew my computer was coming back in last night, so I had my room torn apart doing some rearranging. Sorry.

Next week, though.
