I went Win7 Pro. I like Win7, and I have Win8 on my laptop but I always use the classic desktop on it.

I figure why go Win8 with a watered down classic desktop--just get the real thing.

Thanks, guys. That was my inclination as well. Now to try to find a case that doesn't look like a cross between a Transformer and a cut-rate sneaker.

Lian-Li cases...my favorite maker by far. Affordable, subtle, WELL built (all aluminum), lots of features. This is the one I have currently (and have used for my last three computer builds. Solid as a rock.
