Those physics look great but my biggest problem with EA's boxing series has been it's unrealistically slow speed. I think the one title they got right was Knockout Kings 2002 for the Gamecube. That version had the speed of a fight nailed down.

I downloaded the demo last night on PSN. Anyone else had a chance to try it yet?
- Surprisingly, the download was quick. Less than 20 minutes.
- Graphics looks incredible.
- The presentation is better than in year's past, and I like that there is a second man providing additional commentary.
- I can't tell what difficulty level the demo is on, but it's pretty easy to land punches to the face and body.
- In a three round fight with both Hatton and Paqiano (sp?) I threw over 200 punches. That seems extremely high.
- The punching is a lot more fluid and quick, however, it doesn't seem to be a lot of power behind the punches. Meaning, few of my punches affected my opponent.
- Combinations are pretty easy to throw, but again there didn't seem to be that much damage taken.
- Stamina, power, damage did not seem to fluctuate for either fighter really. The bars stayed almost full for both. Perhaps it has to do with the skill level?
Overall, I'm still excited about the game. I'm very curious how this game plays out with middle and heavy weights.

It's not. Manny can throw as many as 100 punches per round in his actual fights. Paul Williams has thrown 110 punches per round or more in his welterweight bouts.
High-workrate fighters will throw 80 punches per round or more, especially at the lighter weights.
Take care,
