You're allowed to state your findings...as am I to comment on your findings. Easy buddy. No need to be so sensitive.
This is not a politics thread...no need for the "You must have a clover stuffed up your ass" comment.

Could we stop the nonsense, and actually let this be a 'Far Cry 2' thread, please? Not a 'PC specs, my-dick-is-bigger-than-yours' thread? Damned thing's been hijacked enough.

I have rarely, if ever, seen a better looking game. Wow. I don't know how many times I've stopped at the crest of a hill, or a waterfall, and gotten out of the vehicle simply to gawk at the scenery.

I also did a little 'hunting'. Shot a gazelle with a rifle this afternoon-it went down hard. I'm reaaally liking this thing.

Yes, it is hard. One of the reasons I like it. It will be spinning for awhile before it's finished.

I'm in the middle of Act II (about 50% of the way) and I'm loving this game. Sure some of the open world stuff can be a bit annoying (like why the hell do guards at checkpoints respawn?) but the overall scope of the world, the terrain, the beautiful graphics and the different ways you can approach missions have me in love with this one.

Teal,
I wish they developed that aspect a bit more - like give a reason to go hunting (i.e. some kind of stats upgrade or even cash/diamonds for bringing in rare animals) because I love the fact that you have all this wildlife roaming around at different times of day/night!

One mission I was all kitted out to storm an outpost in the dead of night and got sidetracked hunting zebra I saw on my way there! Really neat! I also love when animals run alongside your car!

Yeah, and they make a nice 'THUMP' when they decide to run in front of your car-oh, well...less ammo to use!

I'm stuck on a mission in Act I, blowing up the commander's gear.. damn is this one a tough one... which brings me to what you said, respawning of enemy's at checkpoints.. don't like that.. I don't mind new men coming in, but it's like you were never there.

For the tough missions I usually do them at night - make sure you do the Gun Running side missions and pick up the camo upgrade and the dart rifle plus a few silenced weapons - and you can sneak up on the bad guys.
