It looks like all the games are being streamed on nbcolympics.com, and are also on-demand there as well. Unfortunately, it looks like all the games from women's soccer today have the score on there, so I won't be able to watch without knowing the result. How stupid.

You still watch even though Kahn retired. 8O

Now that Ronnie has decided to stay in MU, how will the fans treat him knowing well ahead that his mind is in Madrid? Fergie will have his handful this season.

The rancid zombified sheep who follow that revolting media bandwagon and the red faced drunkard who helms them would follow them to hell and back even so....although not to Manchester, because that's a journey of thousands of miles for 99% of them.

Officiating in that USA game could charitably be described as "unconventional." :) Grats to the Aussies for nearly slaying the evil Serbs.

A win is a win I suppose, but a fairly unimpressive performance by the USA. I'm just thankful NBC has the games up online and available for replay, as I did not get up for the game.

I wouldn't say his mind is completely in Madrid. Here is the interview he did with a Portuguese paper either yesterday or today.

Yes, mind.

This isn't related but I realize why the interest in BF:BD returned Rob. That was a blast night playing with you and Teal, even though we were adversaries. I hadn't touched it since a few days after since the purchase.

What were the reasons that made you want to leave?

'After we'd won the Champions League, I felt that in five years I had helped win everything there was to win. So I felt that maybe I needed a new challenge'.

Translation: The EPL is not my style of play, Fergie is on my back constantly, I much prefer the Latin style of footie.

Correct translation - we've only won 1 Euro trophy (luckily, on pens) and a couple of leagues in the 5 years I've been here, and only in the last 2 have I come close to being worth the dollar spent on me.

And I'm a spoilt mardarse who doesn't like getting his hair wet in the Manchester climate, and always goes missing in the big games.

And I'm particularly scared of going to play City again, as they always beat us and I get sent off.

It'll be particularly interesting to see the reaction of a couple of the national papers if he stays - a couple of them have tame Scum fans as football writers, and one in particular wrote a puke inducing piece about how the Show Pony was a disgrace to the memory of the 1958 Munich team, although personally I'd consider it more a disgrace that United continue to plunder their memory.

Me, I'm hoping he stays.

See the top of League One, squid? The highest league position in our history, and if you think I'm bothered that we're there only because of scoring 4 on the opening day, you're sorely mistaken.

The only problem is that we played much better than I expected today, and so I'm now filled with that most dangerous of things. That's right, optimism.

City 1 AC Milan 0 and well deserved, although the Italian League traditionally starts later so they are not as well advanced training wise. Still a good performance, marred only by the 5 players who had to be brought off with injuries - so that's typical City.

With apologies for the slightly duff quality, Gillette Soccer Saturday host Jeff Stelling celebrating two quickfire goals for his, and my, Hartlepool United:

Our glorious Thai Overlord is now in London claiming political asylum, so hopefully he skedaddled from his upcoming trials with a great big suitcase full of moolah.

Or, more likely, City are the only club who could be taken over by a billionaire who has no money.

And people wonder why the unofficial mark of the City fan is a shake of the head, usually accompanied by the remark 'Typical City.." and a knowing sigh.

Here's hoping he ruptures his cruciate after 10 minutes. That can apply whether he goes to MU or stays at Spurs - my new 2nd most hated team.
