I picked it up and have about 50 stars under my belt. The easiest way to describe this one is if you didn't like SMG 1, you won't like this one. If you did like it, then you will absolutely love SMG 2.

It's everything the first one was with some really creative, unique ideas, level designs and a much higher difficulty level, which is what the first game was missing in my opinion. Just a few minutes ago I played the last level in World 3 and went through 2 game over screens before I finished it. That never happened in SMG 1, even in the Purple coin challenges.

So yeah, greatest thing since sliced bread IF you really liked the first game because it really improves on it in every way but does very little to change the basic formula.
