What is Herm thinking? He should have went with Huard at halftime. They deserve to lose, too bad a nice effort by the KC defense goes by the boards.

Don't think Huard would have made the difference. KC was lucky to make it this far.

Colts-Ravens is an intriguing matchup.

I'm not sure Green threw a pass in the first half that didn't hit his receivers' hands, so I don't think he was the problem.

Unbelievable performance by the Colts defense today. I did not see that coming at all.

Next week should be very interesting against the Ravens. Freeney has owned Ogden during the last two meetings and Baltimore wasn't able to pound it out on the ground as well as KC or SD this year, so I don't think this is a terrible matchup for the Colts D. But man, the Ravens D is awesome.

I have no idea what to expect from the Seahawks/Cowboys game.

Oh, the new Coors Light commercial featuring Jim Mora's "Playoffs!?!?" outburst (while the Colts coach) is freaking OUTSTANDING.

He had absolutely no time to throw...All the credit goes to the colts D. Incredible effort.

Nothing wrong with the snap, Romo just missed the placement for the ball. But he was also a yard short of a TD. Tough break for DAL. Go Seahawks!

What a game!

But Seattle lucked out. If they don't get their injured players back, they have no prayer next week.

I feel sorry for him watching him walk off the field like that. Hopefully he gets over this. Not his fault that the media pushed the whole romo-nation thing. But what a tough way to go down.

added : where was the ball when romo went down after the busted fg attempt? It looked close to the first down at the one. Or was it ruled a fumble?

That was wonderful to watch. I've never seen so many messed up field goals and extra points in a season before. What happened when anything less than 30 yards was automatic? Maybe Romo should have pretended the ball was Carrie Underwood's ass, that way he would have had a better grip on it.

Wow.

That was one helluva game. Great to see the Seahawks tough one out. Up until that stop of Witten at the 1 1/2 I thought they would lose due to a lack of determination, but that play brought it out.

Now if Romo would have made it to the 1/2 yard line after the muffed snap, it would have been a 1st down, right? I feel bad for the guy. I'm glad Seattle won, but I hate seeing one guy have to deal with the tag of "blowing the game" like that. Didn't a snapper from the Redskins have a simialr thing happen in a Super Bowl or playoff game?

He was down outside the 1 yard line. I don't think they ruled it a fumble.

And as long as thay are still in the playoffs, they have a prayer.

Hey, if Martin Gramatica would have thrown a better block Romo would have scored. And, yes, it would have been a first down on the 1/2 yard line.

I thought the same thing after seeing his half-*ssed attempted shove. But it is safe to say if your game hinges on a Martin Gramatica block, you're screwed.

Crazy game. I didn't really have a horse in this one, but I think that Seattle deserved to lose based solely on their idiotic decision to go for that 4th and goal with 6+ minutes to go. Very odd choice, especially at home. Nevertheless, that was a hell of an entertaining finish.

Agreed. I know 20/20 is hindsight, but if you take the 3 there and get a stop next time, that sets up a possible win.

Yes, in a Divisional playoff game in Tampa the last time the Redskins won the Division, the year the Rams won the Super Bowl. It was Matt Turk's late brother who made the bad snap, but the FG would have been longer than 50 yds, not at all the same deal as here. Crazy.

Not just a bad decision but it tells you something that first and goal on the 1 and they can't punch it in, even with 4 downs.

They have one of the best fullbacks in the league and they run horizontally instead of trying to power up the middle, leading to a big loss on first down.

Actually though, Holmgren may have thought he had a better chance of stopping Dallas inside the 5 rather than kicking off to them after a FG and having Dallas start at least at the 20.

Dallas still had a chance to pull out a win with that hail mary pass falling in between Glenn and Patrick, last play of the game and one of them should have made some sort of effort for a diving catch there but oh well it was a fun game to watch.

I turned the TV off after Dallas made that big run on that 2nd to last drive. Needless to say, I was pretty surprised to find out the Hawks won after the fact. Well, it was more like Dallas snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, but whatever...we'll take it. :)

I know the Hawks O-Line has been pretty spotty this year, but I'm really tired of watching Alexander weakly hit the line for little yardage, or stupidly attempt to reverse field and repeatedly lose yardage. He can be an exciting playmaker, but watching him run the ball is 90% frustration\10% elation for me.

Come on -- no one has given Scoop credit for one of the best lines at DSP in this young year?

Well done, Scoop! LOL! :)

Agreed.

I would pay cash money for an isolated camera on Jerry Jones' face as the snap was dropped. Priceless! Sorry Boys fans, I'm an Eagles fan :)
