That's bizarre, web. I hate framerate problems, etc, and I have yet to have any. I'm more than halfway through the GP series, and I haven't had a dive the likes of which Need for Speed had.
Maybe I'm just having too tough of a time getting the bike stopped, lol. I don't have time to look around. I just haven't seen any of the lack of vertical sync or tearing or framerate issues. Oh well.

Ditto for me. The frame rate drops are not nearly as bad as in the demo but they are definitely there. But after a few races I didn't really notice it that much.webdanzer wrote:Bought it, and played it for a handful of races last night. I noticed everything.![]()
Seriously, the framerate dives and tearing are there, and annoying, but really -once you get past a period of muttering- don't affect the gameplay. I think it's worse in Need for Speed, and I can play that. As everyone has said, the braking is much more demanding, and I too think that is a good thing. I have to play more, but I'm very pleased with what I have seen so far.
One concern I have is that it is very obvious that there is nowhere the amount of people playing this game online than were playing the Xbox editions of the series.
I hope that enough people pick it up so that we can have some DSP races but if not I'll get my money's worth out of it especially since I didn't play MotoGP 3 on the the original Xbox.

Terry is your HDTV 1080i or 720p? Mine is 1080i and I'm wondering if the issues are lessened or gone completely on a system running 720p resolution. If yours is also 1080i then I'm at a loss because I'm definitely seeing frame rate issues. Like I said above it's nothing that makes it unplayable, just a bit annoying.TCrouch wrote:That's bizarre, web. I hate framerate problems, etc, and I have yet to have any. I run mine at 720p and I still have some terrible framerate issues with this game, so you're not the only one. Really a shame, too as this is one of the best looking 360 games to date.mixdj1 wrote:Terry is your HDTV 1080i or 720p?
