We need to have a couple of Top Spin "Poker Nights" prior to starting a league.

It´s really too bad that you cannot do doubles matches across four X-Boxes.

Here´s what I don´t understand about Top Spin Online. Why isn´t there one main lobby showing everyone online at that particular time? This I think would eliminate all these lopsided matches. If they had your name and ranking in the lobby, then you could challenge those who closely fit your skill level. As it is now, I feel as though I have to accept the first challenge that comes my way...be it from a top 10 opponent or a top 500 opponent. It´s almost like potluck. Navigating ESPN´s online lobbies are simple and player detailed. This is just frusturating.

Rally:

I set up an offline tournament -- not in career mode -- yesterday at Medium skill level and cruised through my first two matches as James Blake.

But my semifinal match was epic. Lost the first set 4-2, won the second 3-0 and won the third 4-2. But nearly every game of that third set went to deuce, including a deuce game that must have lasted seven to 10 minutes. It was one of the most intense video gaming experienes of the year for me.

I think there´s plenty of legs in offline play.

PK,

Thanks. I will say i just had a three setter against Chang in the finals of a mid-level tourney (career mode) and it was a classic as well. Maybe the better my created player gets the more difficult the matches. Thanks.

Bad:

Yeah, I´m a bit skeptical of any claim by Terry that he sucks in a game.

Only one way to find out, Paul.

I´m not really THAT bad, but I´m definitely not one of these elite players.

I think my ranking was 480 or 500ish last I saw.

I wrote in the original post that I was like 250 to 400. Well, I think that´s actually 2,500 to 4,000. I think I forgot a zero!
