Speaking of Apples (in the other thread)...
Does anyone think that guy in the new Apple commercials is iSport (the one with the PC and the MAC)? I know it's the guy who was in a couple horrible movies (Waiting)...but he's just as arrogant and cocky as iSport when it comes to his love child (the Apple product line).

Oddly, I look more like a fusion between the two guys...
Heavier, balding, but not as dorky as the PC guy...
I like the commercials, but I'd prefer to see some that actually show off the OS and its features.
I've only been an Apple zealout since 2003, so I'm an infant in Mac years...
I thought PK was the biggest challenge, but it may be you db.
I'm thinking of running a test where I'll send you a Mac for 30 days if you promise to USE it intensively. Unfortunately, I've wittled down my # of laptops/desktops so I don't have an up-to-date Mac to spare. I'd love to get your thoughts after you actually used one...

I'm pretty sure I will be the toughest to crack. I can understand a lot of peoples love for them. All of the multimedia stuff built in is really nice...especially for the artistic/muscial types. For me...there is no need for all that stuff, so I'm not at a loss when I use my PC.
I really am interested in just messing around with one someday. I'm actually think of getting into a little movie editing this summer for some wakeboarding videos. Maybe that's when I'll borrrow my buddies and see what all the fuss is about. I'm not adverse to learning new things...there just hasn't been a reason to jump on the Apple ship quite yet.

I'm around 23 years with Apple - started back in the pre-Mac Apple II days. I've always used Windows PCs for work but have the Mac at home. Now the Mac is almost a necessity with my wife's graphic design work and my own music, and I couldn't afford the switch even if I wanted.
But the last good Apple ad was in 1984, and even that was pretentious as could be. And yet Apple never had anything as poor as "Your potential inspires us to create software that helps you reach it." That is just abysmal.
