Yes, just select the track, then the lap that you want and it will load the setup that was used for it. This is where it also shows your teammates times, and you can select his setup also.
I guess the exact same setups will still produce different results for different drivers, based on that 2 skills you chose when registering.
I can't seem to find how to select the setup from a posted lap, neither mine nor my teammates.
I have questions about tires. My 7 test runs have worn my first set of soft tires to 'heavily worn.' I seem to have 3 total sets of each type of tire available for practice and qualifying. Do we get multiple new sets for racing? I guess we'll find out after qualifying goes down.

I don't think we do, I've been scrubbing in different sets of tires on my practice laps.
To load the setups, select "load" from the car setup screen.
Select "Bahrain" from the list of tracks to the right.
Select "load" from the list of lap times that pops up to the left.

I've been running on the basis that we don't get new sets of tyres, just as the current F1 regs give 7 sets for a weekend. Looking through the race setup screens - I was setting a preliminary strategy, for reasons unknown - you start the race on one of the sets of tyres you had at the start of the weekend. Don't know what happens after that, though.

Thanks.

ps my name is "emelki"
I just tinkered around till I figured it out. Go up to Garage and mess around. You can set your qualifying strategy, and race strategy, the parameters are pretty clear. Change them and save them as many times as you want before that session begins. You can go into Car Setup and tinker with the settings, start by looking at the 'Engineers recommendations' and go from there. You get 7 test runs, and after you test a setup, you will get rcommendations right there on the setup, it's pretty neat. As you go, you can fine tune as you get a top and bottom setting for each area. But remember, you only get 7 test runs, and only 3 sets of each type of tire each race (apparently). I used one set of soft tires (they should wear the fastest) for all 7 of my test runs, and they are now 'heavily worn.' Not happy. You can use your teammate's setup apparently, if you use the 'load' function. This can be very handy, I imagine, to get a head start for your practice times.
But the main thing, the most important by far, is to make sure you make your helmet look as cool as possible.
Yeah, it looks like pk had not joined up yet so the Williams team is now full. We now have 3 slots left since we are not running Ferrari, McLaren, and Renault. One slot left on the Midland team to run with and two slots left on Scuderia Toro Rosso (Red Bull Jr.). It does not look like I can boot anyone from a team, so I guess pk will have to jump in on one of the three remaining slots. Unless we just want to start over. Anyway, once we have those last 3 filled, I will start the game.
Come on man, we need you in! Sorry this is sort of a work in progress so I am kind of figuring it out as we go. If everyone is cool with starting over I will post the teams we have agreed upon first, then I will create the game and provide the link for everyone to go signup in PMs instead of posting it here. That way it will be less likely for someone to jump in. Sorry for the confusion guys I am open to whatever.
Zep, I may be that idiot - I did say in here I had the other Williams, and I'm in the game as their team leader, but I could have shouted louder. Sorry about that.
I'll take the re-do option, and I'll jump out of the Williams if provo wants it.
*Edit - in fact, stick me in a Midland and get pk in where I am. This is probably an appropriate moment to click the blush icon, no?
Consider it a winter test session. But the factory should take note I was 1.3 sec quicker than my teammate.
I may be getting sacked pretty quick. Looks like I am on my way to Champcar.
Ok so here is the re-do since Simo so graciously has given up his seat at Williams to Juan Pablo (provo) and moved over to Midland.

I don't know how the team leader thing works, but if you want to be the team leader, you need to be the first to pick the team, so work it amongst yourselves if you want. There are two slots left, or we could go as is. Like I said I will PM everyone the link and password so I need to know the DSP forum names of the Toyota team. One is emelki, but I don't know which one. Thanks!
