anyone watching The Shield? Warning Shield/Sopranos Spoilers
Moderators: Bill_Abner, ScoopBrady
I initially thought Vic was in on it with Shane as Vic and Ronnie went to wait for Lem at one location, where Vic knew he wouldn't come, and Shane went to where Lem actually was. That way, the cop killing aspect was contained between Shane and Vic. But I am not so sure after seeing Vic's reaction at the end...

and yes I do find myself rooting for them.
NOTE:
The thread title had SPOILER in it but its a Shield thread..... if you are going to post spoilers on another show please say so in caps at the top of your post. This thread contained Sopranos spoilers which I also watch, but on DVD and delayed.
Thx,
BD
EDIT:
There is not even SPOILER in the title
I didnt intend for this thread to become a Sapranos Spoiler thread but I see your point. I have edited the title accordingly.
It seems like TV shows are killing off characters and it's no longer as shocking as it used to be.
This episode was kind of spare with no soundtrack. A contrast from the previous ep. where they were blaring Smashing Pumpkins as the ST found themselves backed against the wall.
Grenade kind of limits the possible perps doesn't it? The 3 guys and a handful of other cops handled the confiscated grenades.

I was shocked... dumbfounded actually. I cant believe the writers had Shane do that.
Btw- I thought there were plenty of grenades still on the street? Claudette told Dutch to start looking in the direction of the arms/drug dealer that was moving the grenades.
Good finale epsiode on what was probably their best season. I like that it shows consequences for the strike team's actions. By emarking on the road they did from the very first episode its led to this. And it's clearly not over.
As far as the killing of characters it's a bigger deal on a show like this rather than 24 where they consistenly kill off their leads. On 24, only Jack has survived the show from season 1 along with his daughter who's had a diminshed role since the first two seasons. On, 24 while its sad when characters die, its not exactly surprising anymore. On a show like the Shield where you generally keep the same cast, it has a different feel. Not better or worse. Just different.
