Posted a -8 tonight! Only had to restart my round twice to score better than you JC.
First time playing the course. Liked it, but at -6 I thought I was rather fortunate as I was spreading my shots everywhere. The constant ups and downs of Spyglass just got me dizzy and if it wasn't for my approaches, I don't think I would have shot in the red honestly. And to think that the pin was easy. Geez.
Maybe it's just the way I am hitting these days, but I just lost confidence in my driver and my irons as I just end up with a slight fade in my shots that looks more like a slice depending on the course conditions. It just seems that the rough is my best friend lately.
Put up a -14 or -15, can't remember, at Spyglass this morning. Was the first time I played the course and really liked it, the different elevations, and holes that made you play something besides driver off the tee. I could see someone making eagle on all the par 5's this round as well. I only had one eagle, but just missed my putt and a chip in on the other ones. This course could really play hard I think with tough wind conditions and pins.

Thanks, but I should have prefaced it with that I had absolutely zero wind during my round. Only had to play green slope and elevations into my approach shots, along with my current lie. Did others have wind?

Oh crap, I assumed that since boost-pins were enabled on the daily's now that we could use any that we wanted. Are we supposed to only use the XP pin? I always use the "Wind" pin when I can. If that's a no-no for the daily's, just let me know.

XP pins only....
Ok, then my -8 today can be considered null-and-void!!
You have any idea how much devs pay attention to those? Honestly in some games the worst ideas get the most votes on those things.
For me, I have just 2 big ones regarding gameplay;
-True-aim---it's more immersive and makes for much more realistic aiming than pinpointing a spot on an overhead camera.
-Increase the right stick swing control. The aiming dot should be jittery, will jump around more with overswing/underswing, and is affected by sidehill/downhill lies like hitting out of the rough this year. This would add a whole lot more shot variety, missed fairways...
Can someone give me an answer please? I went to download Spyglass and 6000 coins is needed, does that sound right? I just decided to buy the rest of the courses and 3200 MS points are required, does that sound right because if so that's about $40. I got the points and coins available, I just wanted to check here first? Thanks for you answers.

6000 coins buys a single round at a DLC course (9k for 2 rounds, 12k for 3 rounds). You can win unlimited rounds at a DLC course by achieving a list of goals, but those goals will take at least 5 rounds to achieve.
3200 MS points to simply buy them all outright sounds about right.

I forgot to mention I have the C.E. edition, do I buy the 11 or 5 course pak?

Even with the CE edition there are still 11 courses you don't have. Personally I only bought half of them, and got the pack that has Spyglass in it.
sigh. I loved Spyglass. I did not like the 17 mph winds. Nor the fact I didn't play very well in them.
Just off on all my approach shots today. Putting stunk. Don't know if i hit a draw or fade correctly. Hmmm, what else. OH ya, I had a yip on a putt and it went about 3 feet instead of 10.
Oddly enough one of my best drives of the day was when my thumb slipped off the stick and I thought i was a goner for sure........
Reading all of this back, I don't know if i'm talking about TW13, or real golf.

The TW Devs pay a great deal of attention.....many features in the game today were a result of community feedback. The more feedback you give them, the more likely the idea will get implemented. And, I agree with both of your gameplay comments.
Had a good chuckle when I played a CC match with a random at the Masters when I got a 'Shouting at Amen corner' achievement for getting 2 eagles. Don't play skins much but it was fun as he had it set up on tournament mode. I was ahead by 10 points after 18 holes but because the 10 points on the last hole was still up for grabs it went into a playoffs in which I choked for wondering why this game had to go into extra innings if I was already up in points. Skins is fun.
I'm at the frustration level with putting. The more points I pump into it the worse I get. I am hitting short putts too hard and my reads always seems to be 1-3 inches too much. I played 2 rounds of the weekly and although the wind was tough my crappy scores were the results of putting. I can't count how many 3 putts I had.
What makes it equally irritating is putting is the best part of my real game. I had a round last week with 26 putts. I would sing a happy song if I accomplished that in Tiger.
**sigh** Maybe I really should buy a new controller and see if that helps.
