NHL 10 (PS3/X360) Announced

Earlier in this thread, or maybe it was the MLB10 thread, I had complained of this game frustrating me. Well, now I have to admit, this game is fantastic.

This will probably be the first time in a long time that I will play a full season. I am 64 games in as the Wings, in 8th place in the West but only 1 point behind Nashville for 3rd place. Just beat them 3-2 in a great game in which I was leading 3-0 early in the 3rd.

I started managing my team better, changing my offensive and defensive strategies and just playing better hockey. I still think the goal variation could be better, but other than that I cannot complain. Great game.

No knowledge of hockey but like the game.

Was planning to do an AHL season....either pro or all star default

Just lost on all star 3-1...was out shot 38-12 and lost face offs 28-0...thats right...28-0....

How the heck do you do a faceoff...cant find it anywhere....

When offline, I pull down on the stick when the refs arm is at the highest point. I look at the location of the zebra's arm a lot, where I pull back as soon as I see his arm moving.

If you play online, try to pull when the ref releases the puck from his hand.

Of course choosing a player with strong faceoffs attributes helps a lot. Good luck.

sigh, i'm so sad because my 360 died just as i finished my first playoff game where the Oil defeated the evil Ducks 3-2.

I miss NHL... sniffle..... hurry back 360!

This game is the GREATEST console sports game EVER for me.

In my third playoff mode, Vancouver has owned me twice. This time, I beat SJ 4-2 and Chicago 4-0 surprisingly with TJ Oshie out. Who's next?

Freaking Vancouver!!!

This is truly the greatest console sports game.

That being said........ fck you Vancover!!! Beat me 4-2 in game one of the Western Conference Finals!!

Down 3-0 now to Vancouver, I can't beat these sons of beotches!

Was up 2-1 in my last game, 3 mins left, take a weak penalty, they score and then in OT they score 50 seconds in to go up 3-0.

I'm calling it the Vancouver curse.. and it's sad I might not get a cup with NHL 10 and will have to start my quest again with NHL 11.

turn off auto save , you only have 2 and a half months before 11 comes out.

I picked up my NHL 10 copy on release day and the disc broke at the end of october so I barely played any NHL 10. After the Halak trade, I went out and picked up a used copy this weekend....just had too.
