Tonight sounds like the right time to jump-start a DSP private racing room! :)

Usually not, hence my issue with online gaming on these forums. LOL. I get on around 10:30pm PST...long after everyone else has quit. Kinda sucks. Hence my love affair with my alone-time PS4 keeps growing.

Haven't been able to play as much as I've wanted, and it's been tough to get online with you lads since my 2nd kid but man....I am loving this game. The other night I just found myself aimlessly driving around the countryside listening to music - not doing races, just driving. Love it. It also looks absolutely gorgeous!

Gorgeous? But, but...it doesn't have enough FPS's or something!

No, no - it doesn't have enough 'p's - it's a sh1tty XBONE game so it's only 900p or something! :) :)

If one already has PS4, would you recommend them buying a XBO Console just based on Forza 2?

I bought an XB1, the TX Wheel, and the shifter just to play Forza 5 and FH2...so I obviously think it's worth it.

But I'm also insane, so there's that.

I was very close last weekend to buying a Xbox One for this game, but just couldn't pull the trigger on one game alone, no matter how awesome it is. Sadly, nothing else really interests me and couldn't warrant the purchase. Not to mention the wife was less than enthused about it. I've gotten past the "want" and am content with the games I own and have little time to play.

Maybe when FH3 comes out....

Didn't you buy an XONE and return it or was that the 360?

I had purchased one for my son's birthday using his and my money back in February, but after a week he decided he'd rather have a PC. It was short lived and he's content with the PC and PS4. I however love shiny new electronics!

I'm trying to hold off for Christmas and not buy this game for the 360 since it seems everyone likes the game better on next gen.

Those are the only two games I own. In this case I was laughing at me. :)

10:30ish? Anyone know how to set up a DSP private room in which we can race and do infected, cat and mouse, etc? I don't! :)

Sorry about ditching last night, boys. I couldn't get into some of those late races, for some reason. This game is almost flawless except for the private matchmaking functions. They're awkward and clumsy as hell, unless we're missing an obvious step, as Terry said.

Then my Xbox One locked up, and I lost all association with both controllers. Recharged both sets of batteries and did a hard reboot of the system, and all is well.

Big fun last night while I raced with you. I'll start upgrading cars to the top of each class and look forward to racing with you again soon!

My night was a mess. Pretty much a metaphor for my condition! :)
