Looking back in the thread all I see are me, Bulls and Brando repeatedly saying how bad the defense is. It was always going to backslide this year and that was before the injuries.
OTOH, the Packers are decimated and thus far nowhere near the team they have been in the Rodgers era, the Lions aren't the same with Calvin Johnson banged up and the Vikings are still lost without a real QB and any offensive weapons except for AP. No reason to assume the Bears can't make some waves, especially in an era where a functional defense has become a rare animal.

I would love to see a Vine video of that strawman getting his head exploded Scanners-style.
A win is a win. Detroit and Green Bay play tough road games this week, so the Bears might be atop the division by themselves, and at this point, that would make me happy.
While it is not even halftime in the Texans - Rams game, I hope those watching get a taste of how HORRIBLE the Texans are. 100 yards in penalties before halftime, down 17-3 to the Rams. I am hoping that the Rams win big and give momentum to removing Kubiak as HC and Schaub as QB. This team has WAY TOO MUCH talent to be 2-3 and losing badly to the Rams. Enough is enough.....
Rams are up 17-6 but they got a BS PI call to help with the first TD. Their run d is horrific. Giving up 18,22 and 23 yd runs to Foster who has 98 yds on 10 runs.
I hope you get your wish as I dont count no chickens til they hatch.
They should rename the Texans the Houston Pick 6's.....Utterly embarrassing performance. FIVE f***in pick 6's in FIVE consecutive weeks. New NFL record.....
This is a totally serious question because I have no interest either way in the game I was watching. If you have 3 personal foul penalties, 2 on the offense and 1 on defense how exactly are 3 penalties offsetting. I assume this is a rule but I've never seen it before.

Seahawks were back at home after 2 weeks and had to work hard against those pesky Titans. For the second week in a row another botched FG turned into a TD, but thankfully they tighten up in the second half and let M. Lynch do his thing.

Which game we talking?
It was the SF / Cards game. SF scored, Cards guy threw him to the ground in the end zone. The Bouldin headbutted the guy and another SF OL hit someone else. They said there were 3 Unnecessary roughness calls and they all offset.
I just never heard fo 3 penalties offsetting before.

Tannehill and his #1 pocket presence blows another game for Miami. Good god he is terrible in the pocket. Throws a nice ball but you can't win if you have no idea what's going on around you in the pocket.
Worst Bears defense in as long as I can remember and it's not fixable in anyway. They gave up 500 yards to the Redskins, lord knows what Greenbay is going to do to them. This was one of my 50/50 games so I might have to switch my pick to 7 and 9 and I reserve the right to alter that after we find out Jay is gone for the season. They called that a groin but he was grabbing at his hip.
Talk to you guys after they lose their next 2.
