Forza Fans, the latest content update for Forza Motorsport 5 has arrived and it is chock-full of awesome for car lovers. With this content update, we’ve added six new cars to Forza Motorsport 5, all available at no extra charge to all players. The list of amazing rides is enough to drop the jaw of even the most cold-hearted car lover. We’re incredibly pleased to welcome a first for the Forza series; in fact, a first for videogames. Rolls-Royce’s Wraith is making its debut in Forza 5, marking the first time Rolls-Royce has ever been featured in a racing game. Wraith is an amazing car – the most powerful Rolls-Royce has ever created – and will surely be a fan-favorite.
As if that wasn’t enough, we’ve got everything from the 2014 Renault Spark SRT_01E, the all-electric star of the upcoming inaugural Formula E series (and star of a new Forza 5 Rivals mode contest, the details of which you can read about below), the long-awaited debut of the Top Gear’s latest “reasonably priced car,” two brand new Infiniti models, and the latest in the legendary Mustang series.

2014 Rolls-Royce Wraith
2015 Ford Mustang GT
2014 Infiniti Q50S
2014 Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge
2013 Vauxhall Astra 1.6 Tech Line Top Gear Edition
2013 Vauxhall Astra 1.6 Tech Line Top Gear Edition
Imagine yourself a celebrity and hit the Top Gear Test Track, because the most recent “reasonably-priced car” has arrived in Forza 5. Can you carry enough momentum through Hammerhead to hit top speed as you swing wide into The Follow-Through? Will you gamble and cut the corner onto the back stretch or play it safe? Will you keep all four wheels on the road as you finish strong through Gambon? The Vauxhall Astra 1.6 Tech Line is a sturdy car with peppy acceleration and a comfortable ride. It’s no race car, but when you envision yourself setting your best time on the track after having been coached by The Stig and having to face Jeremy Clarkson in front of the cameras, it might just seem like it.
Wheel Improvements
This content update also adds some crucial improvements to functionality in Forza Motorsport 5. These include improved livery caching as well as some general improvements for the Thrustmaster and MadCatz wheels that are currently available for Xbox One and Forza Motorsport 5. These improvements have been designed to increase the feel and performance of both of these wheels when playing with Forza Motorsport 5.
Formula E contest
Starting today, we’ve got a brand new Rivals event running, starring the 2014 Renault Spark SRT_01E. You can take control of the Formula E car in this Rivals event running on the Long Beach East Circuit and the fastest overall time will win two pair of VIP tickets to the Formula E championship race in Berlin, Germany on May 30, 2015. These VIP tickets will get you access to the VIP-only “Emotion Club,” Formula E’s exclusive hospitality area, where the winners will be able to mingle with drivers and team owners, as well as top-class grandstand-level viewing, and more. (Please note that transportation and hotel is not included with this prize).
Everyone who sets a time in this event will be eligible to win in-game credits as well, so look for the event in the Community Channel of Rivals Mode and good luck! For full terms and conditions, please see http://forzamotorsport.net/en-us/forza_ ... _challenge

Not the reason I bought the One but I am sure glad this game is here. Especially with all the EA rumors about.DChaps wrote: This game is the reason I ended up buying an Xbox One and I am not regretting it one bit so far.

Your move guys! Man, Long Beach is one of the best looking/realistic feeling tracks ever in a racing sim, PC or console.Gangrel wrote:Hey Grandma 34, I beat your time on the Electric Rivals challenge on Long Beach. Try to get it back, sucka!
You can do it after. Be aware that doing a Record That during the time can mess up what you get. When a Record That didn't get exactly what I wanted on a shot in Powerstar Golf, I created a longer clip after, but I could never get it to upload because of an error. I'm assuming that was the reason.Gangrel wrote:To record a big clip do I need to have to have upload snapped while I play , or can I just go into it after I do a good lap and edit my buffered clip?

Our next Forza Motorsport 5 Challenge has arrived! To celebrate the return Formula 1 in this weekend’s Belgian Grand Prix, we’ve got a challenge happening in Forza Motorsport 5. This weekend, you’ll be challenged to drive the 2013 Lotus F1 car in the 90 Minute Spa multiplayer hopper. To earn the badge and title associated with this challenge, you’ll need to complete a race in the hopper and drive at least 140 miles in the event. That’s all there is to it!
Like our previous challenges, the 90 Minute Spa challenge will only be available for a short time – this weekend only, in fact! The hopper and the challenge will close for good on Monday so, if you’re looking to add a new badge to your collection, now is the time. I’ll be streaming my attempt at the record on Saturday night from my personal Twitch account – follow me on Twitch for an e-mail notification when my stream fires up. I’d love to have you in there racing with me. One note for those who are interested in taking on this challenge: damage is set to ON, so you’ll need to watch those tricky corners (and your fellow racers) or be prepared to spend some time in the pits. Good luck!
I had a race in career do that this afternoon, thought I screwed something up because I had the tv snapped while playing, which by the way is very cool. Good to know it was that as I forgot about the free Forza weekend.XXXIV wrote:At the end of the race your car will just endlessly circle the track waiting for the servers to be fixed.
All you say is true and I agree. They have yet to lie in my face or hide behind half truths.DChaps wrote:I feel bad for them. Turn 10 are really one of the few development teams that truly supports their products well after release. I mean, I was able to earn credits in Forza 5 for playing Forza 2. Anyway, it does seem like they must have somehow underestimated the load, but I am sure it was attempted to be factored in. I have had contact in their forums with enough of them to know they are not dummies. They will figure out a way to make it right and do it again. They got a lot of flack for the credits and DLC system when Forza 5 was released, and in a couple months they had changed and/or addressed every issue for the better, and awesome tracks and cars were released for free, months after the game was out. It is frustrating though. The first weekend I have had in a long time that I could have got in a little gaming and the two games I wanted to play, Forza 5 and The Golf Club, both mess up on me. Oh well.....
