Like Mitt Romney (oops, politics!), I'm moving to the center on this issue. I agree wholeheartedly with Naples!

Sorry for my over-exuberance. I ran out of gas by the latter end of the evening, as it became conspicuously quiet. :)

Great fun! Let's do it again soon.

What the hell time did you guys race? I fell asleep with the game on.

I sent a request to Teal for the club. Can anyone else send an invite?

Shoot, I must have called it quits too early last night. I did try some online races for the first time and came to the realization that either everyone I raced against was really good or I still haven't quite got my head around how to make these cars go fast in this environment. Still had a lot of fun with randoms, which is quite a bit of praise for the game in its own right.

After my kid's ballet class, I got home around 9PM PST but didn't turn on the Xbox until 10 PM so probably around that time. Just roll over next time you see us in a party.

I would have loved to have join you guys last night, however I only saw one person online at 11:30 (Naples I think). I checked my iPad just before going to bed and I see Pk finally got on......close to midnight and I just can't drag myself back down stairs to the basement. Hopefully you guys get on a little earlier during the week!

I'll preface this by saying I played all of 5 minutes (actually 20 min but 15 of that was spent watching virtual girls walk around at the Horizon festival) but like how do I join the DSP club? Am I missing something obvious? I went into MP real quick and didn't see any options to join a club.

Next time you start the game, go to Maps to guide you towards the Club area. In that same zone (I think they call it race central) you'll find the garage, paint shop, marketplace hub among others.

Thanks. I was confused as well. It's in the Single Player mode Danimal.

Also realize that Teal -- the head of the DSP club -- must approve your club application. Entrance into the club isn't instant.

I sent my request to someone other than Teal. He'll still have to approve? FYI, my wife is already tired of this game! Spending too much time with it...

Yep, he has the keys of the house. I know exactly about that feeling, my wife is giving me the looks lately as to why I am giggling so much that late in the evening. :)

For the record you don't need to be on the club in order to play with DSP guys, but you may miss on some awesome cars shared by others.

I'll be picking this up this week at Target, would like to get in if you all don't mind.

I have a new XBL account as my son's hacking ass got us in trouble on my wilk5280 account. Hit me up at Boom5280

I hope to have my NAT problems figured out by tonight so that I can join you all (thanks for the heads up Fifa). For those that have been playing online, is it true that other players cannot see your custom liveries and paint jobs? This would seem to defeat the purpose of having that mode with a storefront and such. Even though I have owned all the Forza games, this is the first one that I have really ever bothered even checking out the Painting/Design shop. I cannot figure it out for the life of me. I "bought" a nice rally livery for my WRX, but don't know how the hell to get it on the car. It is there in the options, but if I do load design nothing comes up. I am apparently a complete dumb-ass. My guess is my 9 year old son will have it figured out by the time I get back from my run. Hoping to join you guys later tonight if there will be any DSP events going on.

That's false. I've seen Teal's most excellent Sebastien Loeb WRC paint job on his Citroen and his "Dukes of Hazzard" General Lee paint job on his 69 Challenger very clearly in online races. Teal also saw the bad-ass Energizer Battery livery I had on my 2013 Dodge Viper last night.

I sent a request to Teal. Just scratching the surface with this one. I can't seem to drive with the controller unless I turn assist on. Wondering if I should dig out by old Microsoft wheel, does that work of with this game? I remember when I got the thing it didn't work very well.

Sorry, you who have submitted for the car club. Been away on a camping trip with my boy. I'll get them approved this evening.

I use the default view with most assists off (getting 90% bonus) and using the controller. I don't play racers much so I never got a wheel.

Cockpit only here as well... not only do I prefer the immersion it gives me, I actually get better times using it.
