In fact, even the NBA PG whose nuts you love to sponge-bath with your tongue more than any other complimented Lin's story last night with this tweet:
Jesus, that is a great quote.

LOL.

I'll tell you what, no other NBA team is getting better economic advice in the locker room right now.

So far, all the Knicks have done since he's come aboard is Lin!

In all honesty, I really liked what I saw of him in the fourth quarter against the Lakers. Can he keep it going?

Was at the Clips/Sixers game last night and, I know this is no secret, but CP3 can f***in play. Made a killer shot to beat my Sixers with 3.2 left. I was very disappointed at how things ended, especially the play call at the end, but I was totally impressed with Paul. He's a killer. Maybe if the Sixers could make free throws and hold the opponent's offensive rebounds within reason they would have closed the door on LA. Oh well, can't lay back against Cleveland tonight...they are playing good ball right now.

Waiting for the madness to end. It will. Just starting to look like it might be after a ten year career tho.

The guy he reminds me of...Kevin Johnson. Eerie how close their skill sets are. And ironically, KJ was my favorite player until he retired...so it's been fun watching Lin highlights.

Hard to get too into the NBA when the Suns are absolutely abusing Nash. Please trade the guy so he can play for a winner his last few years. It kills me that they are just running him into the ground with the worthless supporting cast Sarver has stuck him with.

Knicks merchandise sales, ratings and the stock of MSG are all up.

There is a lot of hype to it and certainly Lin's ethnicity is a part of it. Remember when Ichiro first joined the Mariners, there would be a lot of Japanese media at each game, which was also televised back to Japan.

Same thing with Yao too, and it wouldn't be surprising if back in the Far East, Lin's exploits were getting more coverage, even though I believe he was born and raised in the US.

NBA season was kind of meh before this. NBA hasn't fared as well following the lockout as the NFL has, it seems. But now Lin is an international story so the league's profile is rising -- it normally would at this time of the year, after the end of the NFL, so the timing is good.

It's nice that he is living up to the hype right now. It's not a Tebowgasm of someone who can't play his position very well.

EDIT: woops, apparently Pat Fitzgerald didn't tweet about Lin, someone else did from his account.

Easy on the ball sack, pal.

You're right about Nash, though. Hell, just send him somewhere as a rental for a nice playoff run before he becomes a free agent in the summer.

I caught the start of a Suns game on NBATV and felt horrible for Nash when I saw the rest of the lineup.

Lin is Taiwanese-American, so it remains to be seen if Linsanity will translate to mainland China due to its long-lasting animosity with Taiwan. Yao was a native son; the Chinese Communist Party could say Lin is a pariah because his parents are from Taiwan, which would lessen his appeal with the masses in China.

It pains me to say this, but the league is also better when the Knicks do well. New York is such a huge NBA city. With Boston also heating up, I think the second-half of the season will see a rise in fan interest. Any year where the Knicks, Celtics, and Lakers all look fairly average is going to be a down year for the league.

I was 100 percent wrong about Lin's popularity in China. ESPN's man on the ground in Shanghai says Linsanity has spread to mainland China, which is cool:
