Re: NFL Season 2011-2012
I actually didn't really mean that as an insult to him. What I love about Brady is that he is always in "F*ck it, I'm Tom Brady" mode. I can't think of a player who has ever endorsed footwear, let alone something like Uggs, but Brady could care less if it makes him seem like a pretty boy. The only comparable endorsement I can equate it with is the Bears's Gary Fencik appearing in ads for hair mousse back in the 80s.RallyMonkey wrote:If i had that ability, that talent, that money, and that wife, I'd wear freaking bowling shoes every day and laugh all the way to Canton and the bank.Brando70 wrote:Must be the Uggs that Brady wears.

Brady bangs Giselle, has boatloads of money and could be one of the best QBs ever. He can wear whatever the F he wants. I still am trying to figure out how Jaws was able to even get a "sh*t" out over the air, given the fact that he had both of Brady's balls in his mouth all game long. He's the only athlete I know that gets more on-air fallacio than Kobe Bryant. And that's sayin' something.

That was Jaws that said s***? I thought it was Chucky. Or maybe I just assumed it was Chucky.

Wild and fun games both in Buffalo and Minnesota. Nice to see the Bucs pull out a win. Holy crap that was close with an INT in the endzone.

The ghost of Frank Reich blessed the Bills today. Nice comeback victory!

was hoping Buffalo would go 0-16 this year. Not becuz i don't like the Bills. Rather, i hoped to see Andrew Luck become the corner-stone of their franchise. They picked the wrong season to win..

During preseason I posted as to how T. Jackson was not the answer for the departure of M.Hasselbeck. And after two poor back to back performances by the Hawks, it maybe time to try C. WhiteHurst. Not that he would be the answer but at this point what does SEA have to lose. They are probably the worst team in the NFL today.
Re: NFL Season 2011-2012
Once again the Dolphins D is MIA how nice.

I feel bad for Pete Carroll who is a good HC but has never shown that in the NFL.10spro wrote:During preseason I posted as to how T. Jackson was not the answer for the departure of M.Hasselbeck. Two Dolphin trips deep in the red zone and NO points....sheesh.
Re: NFL Season 2011-2012
Hey Miami made a FG! They should be winning this game...instead down by 3...Need some plays on defense!

Re: NFL Season 2011-2012
If the Dolphins dont figure out how to start getting some turnovers (were terrible last year too) they aren't going to do anything. The offense needs some short fields to work with. The 70-80 yard drives are hard to come by, not to mention they are like 2-12 in terms of getting TDs when getting into the red zone. Horrendous.
Re: NFL Season 2011-2012
Now the Dolphins could have used those 2 missed FG's. The defense implodes again.

Re: NFL Season 2011-2012
And Miami needs to just take the knee on kickoffs....they keep putting themselves in bad field position.
Re: NFL Season 2011-2012
And bad coaching. They attempt a 4th and 1 to draw Houston offside then call a timeout.icvu42 wrote:And Miami needs to just take the knee on kickoffs....they keep putting themselves in bad field position.

Re: NFL Season 2011-2012
Everyone? Ugh, maybe Chiefs and Broncos fans have something to say about that. But what puzzled me is that management decided to let go Hasselbeck thinking that C. Whitehurst would fire up the offense. But then they bring Jackson onboard and he wins the starting job, while not doing that much better than Charlie during the pre-season.dbdynsty25 wrote:Way to go out on a limb. LOL. Seriously? Re: NFL Season 2011-2012
Martz should have been s***-canned for coordinator malpractice before he even left the press box. You know coming in that Williams' blitzes like Buddy Ryan on PCP. Even with a good OL, you're not going to be able to beat that with 7-step drops and complex, slowly-developing plays. It's got to be 3-step killers like the Packers used in the first half last week. s***, everyone knows this...11 year-old mouth breathers with ADD have figured this out in Madden. But he still sticks with his QB Killer offense.Danimal wrote:Matt Forte got 10 carries today...TEN!
Mike Martz is a f***in idiot.
Then the game starts, Forte has some success running, Carimi goes down, The Frank Omiyale NFL Referee Training Simulator trots on and it's clear that they can't deal with the rush. Does he adjust with a more balanced attack, or even some short stuff to beat the man-to-man and blitzes? No. The QB Killer offense continues unchanged.
Then in the 4th quarter, it's clear that Cutler is legitimately at risk. This obstinate, ignorant buffoon just keeps running the QB Killer even after the game is clearly out of reach.
Look, the OL is a notion, the next WR to accurately run a complete pattern will be the first and yes, Jay Cutler is a pouts like a b*tch. But all of that is deck chairs on the titanic as long as they remain wed to an offensive system that exacerbates these weaknesses rather than compensating for them.
This offense was obsolete even when it was in its prime. The freakishly good OL that the Rams had combined with the world class accuracy of Kurt Warner and HoF at WR and RB was not a combination that comes together every day. Without some tactical flexibility Martz's Air Corryel pipe dreams are a death sentence.
And it's not like the league hasn't known this for years. Nobody except old pal Lovie would've hired him to begin with. Very frustrating, particularly because 90% of the analysis centering on tangential nonsense like Cutler.

Falcons were very fortunate to win that game against Philly last night. They were pretty much outplayed the
entire game. If not for Vick's fumbles and interceptions, they would have lost by 20.
