EDIT: Rant on!
Now that was just a f***in disgrace. It is everytime the referees score a goal. It makes you sick.
Betman go f*** yourself you piece of s***.
The assholes compound it by giving the Pens a pp. Either you call penalties or you dont.

2-1 Penguins after one. That didnt go so well. Out shot, out played but more importantly out worked. Hopefully the boys hang in there.
Note to the pig Betman. Dont be bringing that fake ass NBA bullshit to this game. I know you neeed to get ratings up but have you looked at theirs lately? That garbage aint working there either.
Scumbag.

All the way back is right on! 2-2 series going back to Pittsburgh.pk500 wrote: EDIT: Habs 3-2! All the way back, baby!
Sweet win. Hanging tough and not giving up pays off. If they had given up that lucky third goal would not have mattered.
Great save Halak on that Malkin break away.
Refs you should be embaressed. That was just disgusting all night.

You know what my opinion on the Zebras has been during these playoffs. Some calls are so brutally obvious that you start thinking 'How much they payed you' dude.XXXIV wrote: Refs you should be embaressed. That was just disgusting all night.

Now watch tomorrow when VAN starts crease crushing CHI, how they'll start calling goalie interference all of the sudden.
Gotta keep playing though, suck it up and Habs know they can count on Halak

Finally saw the Big Buff goal celebration last night, as I was en route to the bar when he scored that goal.
Three-word response: Big. F*cking. Deal.
What's wrong with a guy stirring the opposing crowd a bit? It's called personality, and Big Buff earned the right to gloat a bit last night. Does every guy who scores have to simply pump his fist and say, "I'm just doing my best for the boise and the or-GAN-EYE-za-tion?"
God, I hope not. Big Buff's celebration was tame compared to the NFL and NBA.

The last minute of the game must have felt like an eternity for Habs fans. PIT had control of the puck but just couldn't find a good shot at Halak. Kudos to the MON D-men for blocking the shots.
How confident is coach Martin with PK Subban? He's just throwing the kid on the ice with the likes of Crosby and Malkin. I am impressed.

So Buff getting the only penalty when he was face-raked and roughed up by 3 Canucks isn't a bad call? Only calling a 2-minute penalty on Burrows at the end of the game when he tried to slam Bolland's head into the boards WWE style followed by a teammate cross-checking him in the back isn't a bad non call? There's plenty of bad calls or non-calls for both teams and overall I think the refs in the Hawks/Nucks series have done a good job and haven't determined the outcome of any of the games. Maybe if Luongo didn't give up fat rebounds and the defense could have cleared the trench like they should the series would be 2-1 Vancouver and Bobby Lou and AV wouldn't have to cry about the refs. I'm sorry 10s but I've heard a ton of whining from the Vancouver fans and it's getting old.10spro wrote:And the one on Crosby during a PP with 10 minutes to go.XXXIV wrote: Great save Halak on that Malkin break away.

I'm still not sure how the first Penguins goal was given to them by the refs. Wow.
For the record, I personally never blamed a 'Nucks loss because of a bad call from a zebra which has been aplenty as you mentioned during this series and other ones as well. Fortunately the bad ones and non-calls haven't affected the outcome of any game but with CHI's 5th goal last night which was a clear interference and the score already 4-2, who gives a sH*t?ScoopBrady wrote:So Buff getting the only penalty when he was face-raked and roughed up by 3 Canucks isn't a bad call? There's been bad calls tonight in the Habs-PIT game tonight and we'll continue to see them unfortunately.
Whining from VAN fans? It comes with the territory I guess, when big Buff takes plenty of liberty at Luongo, claiming each instance that he was pushed. Give me a break. No one can move that beast out of the crease and that was VAN's problem in game 3.
Buff getting raked by 3 Canuckers which included the twins and O'Brien? I wish the Sedins were that tough, but nope, you and I know that the big guy can bench press the Twins together with no problem.
And I personally criticized the play of Burrows already, not being smart about his fights. I don't have an excuse for the Hawks win last night, they beat VAN hands down.
All I am saying is that if Buff is allowed to do his sh*t in the crease, which is his job, I hope the same is allowed for tomorrow (which unfortunately I will miss) when VAN will probably do the same.

Dude you're a joke. I get passionate about a sport that I love and play. But there's only one standard of rules that the refs should all follow. The game is fast, mistakes are bound to happen. If the refs suck and they have in some series so far, I can make a comment of my displeasure. Don't like what I am saying? Stay the f*ck out.Jimmydeicide wrote:Id say Canadians in general get all whiney when things dont go there teams way.
After the first loss of the playoffs against the Kings 10s was crying.
Crying after one playoff loss? Oh right, I told everyone that the 'Nucks would clean the Kings in 6, so I absolutely panicked after one loss. Can you find that precious moment?

Ironically, my enjoyment of the NHL was hampered this season by the calls the refs DIDN'T make -- blatant head shots and checking from behind along the boards.
