We cleaned up today as far as gaming goes.

Wife managed to get LRB for free at Old Navy and NFS:Nitro for $28 at Target. I snagged Lost Planet (PS3) for $10 and Star Wars Force Unleashed (Wii) for $13 on Amazon.

Combine this with the B2G1 deals a few weeks ago and we are set until spring for games.

thank you dan. Was set to do this, except apparently pre-orders don't count. Had added Red Dead Redemption and Gran Turismo 5 to the cart, and they it registered to $120

Amazon has Wario Ware: Shake It! for $20 (great game for the kids)

Best Buy has Fight Night Round 4 for $15 in-store or online for both 360 and PS3 (another great, especially with the new patch update).

I see it listed at $20, is there something special you have to do to get it for $15?

Really? I purchased two copies yesterday for 20 bucks each and then one today for 20 bucks. Apparently you got the lucky Best Buy or something cuz no one else has been able to get it for 15.

WTF...wonder why I paid 20. Oh well...10 bucks, big deal. The game is worth every penny of that.

All the EA Sports games are on sale for $39.99 at Best Buy; if you are a Gamer's Club member, there is a coupon for a $20 Gift Card with the purchase of two games $39.99 and up. Picked up FIFA 10 and NHL 10.

They're sold out Zlax. Keep in mind for the future these deals are plastered all over Cheapassgamer, slickdeals, fatwallet, Joystiq, Kotaku and other sites. Multiply that by thousands of others jumping on the deal.

You're best bet is to see if Walmart, Dell or Amazon decides to offer the same deal.

Steam is offering free games to PC users with NVIDIA or ATi graphics cards. This should include most people with add in graphic cards and those using PCs designed for games in general. NVIDIA users get Portal: First Slice (the first 11 levels of the game), Half-Life 2: Death Match, Half-Life 2: Lost Coast, and Peggle Extreme while ATi users get Half-Life 2: Death Match and Half-Life 2: Lost Coast.

Jared - You should consider a thread sticky for this thread.

Big sale this weekend on the total war series on Steam if you don't own them.

Finally patched the last one is pretty darn good. Anyway just looking out.

Like we need another sticky. We've gotta trim it down as is...I love scrolling halfway down the page to see the first new thread reply...and I'm on a 24" monitor. It's getting a little excessive. But this thread definitely deserves one...just gotta get rid of the current pointless ones (no politics, gamertags that haven't been updated in months, etc.)

IMO Jared should create a Madden forum just like he did with City Baseball. And the videogame hall of fame should not be a sticky as well as the PSN and XBL gamertags.

But if you had a 32" monitor instead this all would be a moot point right? :P

We can certainly move the Madden league to it's own forum, Jared asked me if I wanted it but I didn't want to switch mid-season. If there is a season 3 I'll ask him to move it.

Unfortunately I got the biggest my work desk would allow...so I'm stuck at 24" because I've got a hutch w/ cabinets over top and I am only clearing it by 1/2 and inch as is. I'm maxed out!
