Just so you guys know, EB Games/Gamestop are offering an add'l $20 when you trade in a PS2, XBox, or Gamecube. I'm not sure what the base values are or what they are going for on eBay, but it is at least a better offer than before.

From CAG, you can get $50 for a Gamecube ($30 + additional $20). Not sure about Xbox/PS2. I am holding onto my system since I have no plans to buy any next gen systems till next year.

Let me know what you find out, PK. I have a Xbox I was going to post on Ebay, but with some quality 360 titles releasing soon, I wouldn't mind taking it into my local Gamestop if it's worth it.

EB/Gamestop is a f*cking joke. One EB near me said it would give me $40 for a used Xbox with a controller and standard A/V cable and power cord. Another said it would give me $50. They're going from anywhere between $80-100 on eBay depending on what accessories are packaged with the unit.

Yeah, that's what I figured. I don't think I've traded anything in at a Gamestop/EB in at least 2 years. They're a ripoff.

Confirmed. At Gamestop/EB, they are running a promotion where you get an extra $20 trade in credit on an Xbox, Xbox 360, PS2, and Gamecube. Xboxs are currently trading in for $50, so this should give you a total of $70 in credit. I'm trading in one of my PS2s today for $45 + $20 = $65.

pk, go back to Gamestop and tell them to read their fu*king e-mail.
