I'll say it again, there is no way EASHL isn't in NHL15. Every other next gen sports game included a full feature set. NBA2K, The Show, FIFA, etc. etc. EA isn't that stupid.

If it IS in, it's constant free publicity a month before the game releases---everybody is talking about it. Then they can spring it on people later, like "we never said it wasn't in".

So... first two goals are slot snipe specials and the third is a waning seconds of the period goal

Glitchers'll be happy with this one.

Also, I'm a fan of Doc, but that sounded.... stilted.

Could be some growing pains with this one.

It sure is purty, though.

Not sure what to say. From that camera angle it looks like last gen, just the players are a bit bigger. Thought they would change that to give us a new experience.

Presentation looks great.

I agree, Emrick sounds like crap. I like him too cause even on the smallest play he gets excited in real life, here it's like they tranquilized him.

I ll still end up buying it.

Someone else over at OS posted that a "famous" German game shop lists NHL15 online as 2-12 players. Jesus, this is ridiculous.

Awesome, so I guess that means we gotta get the German version of the game. :P

:D just trying to stay positive. In all honesty if EA removed this mode it might be one of the biggest gaming goofs I've ever witnessed. I know we are all pions but all it would take is a simple press release or quote from a producer to clear this up. I have nearly become a sports only gamer of late and this mode is the funnest mode I have ever played. Two years of development? Has to be in the game.

The game looks so freaking good.. WOW.. I envy my kids when I'm gone and they are playing NHL 55. :)

The only thing I don't like is the soundtrack.. good grief it's too mellow for hockey.

But there were several shots from the slot stopped. I didn't see anything that said it was automatic. And we would have no how many periods of hockey it took to find a last second goal to worry about that.

Mostly, this is the stuff that a subset of gamers that can't take losing will go off on, ignoring all of the times in which this stuff doesn't happen. I'm not saying there aren't money goals, but calling them from this is a bit much.

I will say that Doc sounds stilted, but better than the usually Madden commentary.

I get why folks were tired of Thorne, but I'm positive he sounded smoother and better because of his work in MLB 2K baseball. 2K gets how to record commentary, and EA has yet to really figure it out.

But overall, I'm getting this Day -5!

 It was just EASHL-honed cynicism, and should be taken as tongue firmly in cheek.

I like they brought FMV back from PS1 days. I guess it's better having real videos than the poorly animated simms/nance from the madden series.

I still don't know how this would have taken 2 years. Maybe the game is fun but off the videos, it looks like it's just a minor graphical upgrade from the current gen.

I know EA said they wouldn't repeat the mistakes of 6 years ago where next gen didnt have the same options as the older gen,, but looks like that's what they've done here. If the gameplay in next gen is poor, I ll just go back to 360 version and get all the online options.

It looks pretty good in my opinion!

Graphics are definitely sharper, player models lankier and more realistic, fun collision physics...

It looks like passing may be a little snappier, although the most important thing to effectively pass is players putting themselves in a good position to receive the pass in stride which is an AI question.

I am all for most goals coming from wristers in the slot, as that is really the most dangerous shot in hockey. The only problem in 14 is that goalies were too vulnerable high glove and too strong to every other shot location. I want to see leakiness and variety in the shots the goalie yields.

It's still silly easy to dangle right through a defender, but I can't get everything I want.
