Corrupt Save Message Details
It has recently come to our attention that some of you may be receiving a corrupt save message when trying to save a file. This could happen with tunes, replays, paints or photos. While we are working on this issue please follow the steps below.
The Message: Your save file is corrupt. Please delete it from the Xbox Dashboard and create a new one.
If you receive the message above when trying to save a file please follow these directions:
1.Go to the Xbox Dashboard.
2.Move to My Xbox then scroll to the right and select “System Settings”.
3.From inside System Settings select “Memory” then select the location where your game saves are located (for most people this will be on the hard drive).
4.Scroll down the list until you find Forza Motorsport 4.
5.From inside the Forza Motorsport 4 memory saves, you want to select the file that was corrupted. In most cases the file you are looking for will say “Corrupted” and have “!” next to it.
NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT DELETE your Game Save, If you do, you will lose all your game progress. Here is a list of the naming structure of your Forza Motorsport 4 saves:

Is your internal xbox resolution set to 1080? Also your 58 incher is gonna have much bigger pixels than a 42 which will create more apparent jaggies, right?DChaps wrote:Funny thing happened to me when I was in Best Buy picking up Rocksmith. So I see a racing game being played on what appears to be a 42 in LED Samsung (I think, did not get specifics, but it was LED). From a distance I am like "Wow, what is that game, is it GT5?" I walk over to investigate more closely and it is Forza 4 and it looked absolutely gorgeous. My Forza 4 looks nothing like what I saw on this TV. Not that mine looks bad, but this was the first time I realized either LED is ALOT better than Plasma, or I just do not have my TV setup well for gaming on the 360. I have a 58in Samsung Plasma 1080p using HDMI on the 360. There were two big differences I saw in store. One was lack of jaggies/glimmers. I don't really know if I am describing it correctly, but on my TV I see what in the PC gaming world I would describe as jaggies and an almost shimmering effect especially on trackside objects. The LED TV was also much brighter and crisp. I could actually read specific dials and displays on the cockpit, whereas on my TV it is almost always too dark and a little blurry to really see the dash in great detail. I have adjusted the brightness in game, but it does not seem to make a huge difference. I will admit that I am using one of the default Samsung settings (Dynamic), as after trying several custom settings from the AV boards, as well as hunting through the Samsung interface to find the ridiculously hidden "Game Mode", I still found the Dynamic to be the best overall for my setup. Again, I have never played any 360 game where I did not think it looked next gen and high def, but seeing this comparison blew me away. Of course I wasn't really looking at them side by side, so maybe it's not as dramatic as I think it is, but still it has me curious.
Absolutely that's the difference. If you sit the same distance from the 58 as you do the 42, the 42 will look cleaner every time. The point of the bigger TVs is to allow you to sit further away and still get the same picture quality. 1920x1200 res on 42 will always be a little cleaner than the same res expanded to 58. Just a fact of life unfortunately.Naples39 wrote:Is your internal xbox resolution set to 1080? I've sent an invite, mate, so you should have at least one when you next fire the game up.sportdan30 wrote:Please send me an invite. Gamertag sportdan37.
Thanks!
Great job Teal. It really is a b*tch to do anything like that with the tools Turn 10 gives you.RobVarak wrote:Teal those are beautiful, man.
And I appreciate the evidence that you hadn't just fallen asleep playing Forza instead of joining the rest of the known universe playing BF3!!
It is my car of choice also. Why I stuck the flag on it.Dave wrote:Have to say that the Diablo in this game might be my favorite car ever to drive in a videogame. You can really drive it and pull off some great, controlled powerslides and the engine. Oh my, Turn 10 really did a great job with the engine sound--it might be the best-sounding engine I've ever heard in a game.
I spent more time with the Career World Tour mode over the weekend and I saw a lot of this weird AI behavior as well. To be honest it got to be pretty infuriating at times. If you try to race the AI clean, they can provide a compelling challenge, all to be wasted when they decide to just drive off the track into a wall, and not in a realistic way. Also, once you finally do pass them, they just vanish in the mirror and you will only see them again if you make a BIG mistake.fletcher21 wrote:Once you pass level 50, you no longer win prize cars when you level up. You are given cash. I think level 51 is something like 105k credits. Kind of lame, but there are only so many cars. The Super GT cars are by far the best and most interesting in the game. Love those things.
Anyone notice how often the leader of a race will just run straight off the track and into the wall? It happens all the time. I think I saw it happen 5 races in a row. If they skid off the track but don't hit anything, they will come back onto the track with no regard for human life at all. I saw the leader skid off, come flying back on and take out the new leader a few races ago. I went from 3rd to 1st in one second.
The Rivals has been great. I have and continue to enjoy our dances.DChaps wrote: I can't complain too much though as the Rivals Challenges mode gives me way more fun than racing AI. That is probably the best part of FM4 so far.
PS - When are we going to try a FM4 Poker night? We have to at least give it a shot. Problem is finding a night when everyone is not playing BF3 and before MW3 comes out.
You are also on your own with the lap times.GB_Simo wrote: I may however be on my own with this.
