The MLB network has been a funny reminder of what baseball players used to look like, with all the games from the '80's that they've been putting on in the daytime.
Great pitching duel between Halladay & Burnett as A.J returned to the Skydome as a Yankee. The Doc had a complete game and the Jays continue to hit consistently. A. Hill is having a great season so far.

I just hate they are wasting some good offense! Between the pen, and the starters (when will they ever have a true ace again?) it's depressing to come online, check the scores, and find out they keep losing 10-7, 10-6, etc. And a lot of those runs are usually given up when the relievers hit the game!
Cards woes just keep getting worse and worse.......
From Stltoday.com regarding Khalil Greene.
Greene admitted to feeling increasingly overwhelmed by his situation and did not dispute accounts that he has several times punished himself physically.
Several team members have expressed concern about the degree of Greene's self-punishment.
"That's the way it's always been," Greene said, referring to his condition's compulsive nature. "It's not rational. It's not something I think as an intelligent thinking human being. ... I understand the disorder of it. It just doesn't help."
Jays start a key three game series in Beantown as the top two in the AL East battle it out. We know they can hit and all three pitchers playing this week weren't even in the starting rotation at the beginning of the season. Should be a good measuring stick for the youngsters in BOS.
Or maybe these are the 'Real Jays' losing the series to both BOS and ATL in their first losing streak of the season. The rookie pitchers seem to be running out of steam and that 'Hot' bat that got us this far is cooling down lately.
Interesting look at the power of media. However, I have to say baseball made it's bed, and unfortunately the current players have to lie in it. I Ibanez wants to vent he should go after Bonds and Clemens. In this day and age ANY player who puts up big numbers will be under suspicion.
Hey, I think in general the media is a mess any more, but baseball has created this problem for themselves.
You mean McGwire. Yeah, I pretty much feel duped from that magical homerun season. And no, if I had a vote, there's no way I'd vote him in to the H.O.F.
I'm just astounded there are some fans who don't care that they blatantly cheated. Heck, some would rather they still continue to use steroids just so long as they see 500 foot plus homeruns and pitchers throwing 100 mph. I guess I can't relate to that. Personally, I'd much rather MLB put a policy in place that the first time you get caught, you're out of baseball. If that means some of the big stars are banned for life, then so be it. Yes...including Pujols.

Just clean up the damn game!
If by "some fans" you mean "the majority of fans", I agree with you.
