In the loser's bracket, Fresno State defeats Ohio 10-7 in a game that can only be described as Y-U-C-K. A plethora, yes plethora, of dropped balls for both teams (although admittedly Ohio had a slight edge, right hoosier) surrounded by some pretty decent defense made for a close, albeit not terribly exciting finish.
On a side note, hoosier is a welcome addition to this community in my eyes. Friendly, legit, and a good guy from what i could tell. Great game man.
A few stats of note:
QB's
Ohio #9- 10 for 21, 63 yards, 1TD
Fresno #7- 8 for 23, 128 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT
Rushing
Ohio #5- 12 carries, 57 yards
Fresno #32- 18 carries, 87 yards
Only one turnover for each team and they came back to back. Ohio made a pick in Fresno territory only to see their QB fumble it away on an option on the very next play.
The Bulldogs await their next foe. Good game hoosier.

Sounds good to me.ubrakto wrote:How about Wed night right on at 9:30 (CST). I can deal with the later start on my end. I think it was 38 - 10.
It was 6-3 at half, todd was home team not sure if that was right or not, but it didn't matter to me. But man is momentum screwed in this game, he kicked a field goal for a 3-0 lead and got 5 momentum bars.
If someone drops and you need a fill in, I will jump in bill, anything to get away from that horrid 4-2-5 defense.

Bill, you can mark Western Michigan down for another win.
Absolutely the best online game I've been in to date: a double OT 38-35 thriller over Vader29's Pitt Panthers. Pitt jumped out to a 28-7 lead early (I think) in the 3rd Quarter. WMU clawed their way back and scored a game tying TD with less than a minute to go.
OT was even wilder, with both teams getting touchdowns on fourth down plays. But after Pitt came up short on a field goal attemp in the second OT, the "mighty" Bronco kicker strode onto the field and nutted a 42-yarder for the comeback win. Great stuff.
Vader, whenever you feel like a rematch, just let me know. You really deserved the win on that one.

Players of the game for each team from the Pitt/Western Michigan game:
Quarterback Ryan Cubit of Western Michigan was the overall player of the game as he was 16-29 for 292 yards, 5 tds and 1 int.
Pitt's player of the game was running back LaRod Stephens with 13 carries for 95 yards and 3 tds.
Great game Todd, good luck in the rest of the tournament.

Tourney website has now been updated w/ all of the recent games.
DB...I'm good to go during the day this week. What time works for you? My daughter starts school Monday (I am more nervous than she is..) and she goes all day on Wednesday. So would around noon work?
