Could not agree more. This is what TrueAim was in TW11. You also could not zoom in while aiming either, which I think would go a long way towards curbing low scores. I am telling the TW Devs that they need to bring back TW11 TrueAim for TW14 and I am certainly not alone in communicating that to them.

Nonetheless, great tournament HOGZ.....I had little chance of catching you being 17 strokes down at the start of my round and being only -5 at the turn pretty much stuck a fork in my chances. Managed to have a pretty good back 9 with eagles at both par 5's.

Congrats to you and Ortho BOTH for some of the best scoring I have seen in TW13 in Tournament mode.....

XXXIV, go on your career mode play a few offline matches, get a good feel for putting with your CAG and join the party once a spot is open.

Yeah, I've installed to the HD. I know you said you're too lazy to go back and read thru the thread, but there's a lot of great info to be found and probably well worth the time. It's a great game

Not so much lazy as wanting a quick answer so I can play. I have been goofing around with it for about an hour and I already know it is going to get most of my gaming time for quite a while.

Thanks boys. As I write this probably my score will be overshadowed by the elite guys but I did score well with the putter in the first three holes and did well on the oar 5's. I just wanted to concentrate more on going even on the par 3's that always gave me trouble on this course. Slowing down my approach to the game did help somehow. :)

Yeah, those damned oars can really get in the way of your golf game. Hell, I play like I'm using them...

Welcome to fold XXXIV! I highly recommend that you buy the "Refill" pack in the online "Store" using whatever coins you amass. Play career mode and particularly in the 18 hole tournament rounds, use your XP boost pin... refilling it as you have to It boosts your XP gain 5X. It will get you up to competitive speed faster than anything else. Also, play your career mode in Tournament difficulty, but back your CPU AI level down to something like easy or normal, if necessary to make yourself competitive. You'll get a higher XP multiplier for playing Tournament difficulty.

Hogz and Ortho purt some sick numbers up this week at Scottsdale. I thought I'd be putting up something in the mid 30 under range, but for some reason, this course had be pretty baffled. I think I have more trouble on slow greens than anything else. I had three bogies and two doubles in my final round of one under par today. And this was after I'd posted a 65 at Augusta, after being 2 over par through holes. I played 7 through 13 in 7 under par there!? James (10spro), it was my four putt double bogey on #4 that constituted the tie-breaker difference between you and I at Augusta. It really pays to avoid those doubles, they are very punitive! Great round on your part though!

It is experiences like this that keep this game compelling though. It's interesting to sit back an watch everyone else's performances fluctuate like mine, although the amplitude of my cycles seem to be about the highest.

Based on the feedback, we'll be teeing it up at Atlanta Athletic Club tomorrow evening. That should be fun!

Congrats on the -8 at Augusta DM. I remember bogeying 18th to drop a shot there. Just scored a -4 at Royal County. With the gusty wind if you miss the fairway, you better have a damn good approach at the greens. I think good wind players like you, Truth and JC should do very well here.

Thanks 10! Very nice scores by you and JC. I should have had a -10 as I missed a 5' birdie putt on 14 and hit the 15th green in two and 3-putt from 12'....that being said, I'll take -8 anytime at Augusta....

Great score for Wilk on the daily. Just a reminder that you have a whole week to finish the weekly now which is held at 'The old white TPC'.

Thanks! Just when I thought I was getting back in the groove I go and shoot a +4 in the first round of the weekly at Old White. That course and those settings just are not set up for my strengths at all. Going to be an ugly week there for me for sure!

Yeah, not my favorite course for sure. Those greens were certainly slick and on the 18th hole if you don't get it over the hump, you can 3 putt easily.

They need to take that hump away on that hole and use it to fill in the dip on number 3, damn West Virginians! :P

Shoot bro, I 3 putted several greens this morning. Thise damn greens were like ice rinks. I've not seen faster greens in nearly 120 rounds. It was redonkulous!

Great score, Teal. Course plays a lot different for day 2 as the greens have softened up significantly. I went from a +4 on day 1 to a -9 on day two. I was throwing darts out there this afternoon.
