Here are the patch noites, I was able to fix my issue by unplugging my controller. The auto fly by on each hole seems to be gone, lighting changes are very noticeable as it looks a little less stunning on my PC now but they fix the putting on greens with lots of shadows. My ball in flight now has my name attached to it. That's all I noticed.

Over the past couple weeks we have been working hard to optimize the load on our servers in an effort to reduce transition times and delays. This update will improve the experience with some client side optimizations that we have completed. In this update you will also see the following:

• Society and Career stats updating with less delay from the server.
• In-Game leaderboards updating with less delay from the server.
• We have added the ability to donate to a society’s bank from your personal wallet.
• We have added an active course filter to show all course with active rivals on them.
• A setting has been added to turn off the ball label for ghosts and rivals.
• Rebalanced AI for Career Mode.
• Less time delay between turn based shots with rivals/friends.
• Lighting adjustments

Ok, wow. I place 2nd at Victory Village, go away a couple days, come back and fire up Oakmont, and it's like I've never played a golf game before... Lol. I think I had one FIR, everything else was way pushed to the right, and I never could get it corrected. The greens are oiled glass. Uh, I'm gonna be hind tit on this one fellas. Don't worry about the bottom-I've got it covered... Lol. Holy cow.

Just finished Round 2 in the PS4 tournament. Brutal round, particularly the front nine and just about anything related to putting.

Question. Does everyone play in the same conditions each round?

Also. I saw some odd stuff on the greens today. I had an 5' putt that was uphill 12'.. 12 FEET? I ignored it and still missed the putt. The round I played was fast greens. However, my short chips didn't seem to be included in that concept as they would often act like the green was medium or even slow. I would prepare for the roll of a fast green only to leave it short 15 feet. Have any of you guys experienced anything similar?

Yeah, it's a deadly course if you can't hit it straight. I am pretty much opposite you, I got a perfect/fast swing and everything goes left. Even when you think you got it straight, the fairway slopes kicks you out of it if you got a 12+ mph wind. A challenging course needless to say, putting is an adventure on its own.

HUD info needs to be patched as it is way off in some case.

And my bro, new edition to the Society, Toddarito thought he'd be in the bottom. Think he was like +46 so clearly this is a brutal track. Haha.

Those greens were so frustrating.

Yep. I had a great tourney last week and blew the hell up at Oakmont in round 1. I think actually walking the grounds there last summer at the US Open had an impact on my play. I still get the shivers when I see those cascading bunkers and deep rough.

I can't for the life of me get a grip on Dovetail. My 3rd round PS4 came in at an 80. My back nine was 10 strokes better than the front which has been the theme for the first 3 rounds.

Unrelated: Is there a way to search for courses by the designer? I'm looking for Ascension Bay by Artic.. Can't find it and am wondering if he's not brought it into TGC2 yet. It was one of my favorite courses on TGC1.

Ascension Bay has not been ported over yet.

Go find Royal Ethalwind in the search or Favorites, then look for more courses by designer and I think he has that an Jupitor Ridge out so far.....

Can't wait to see what this cat can design now that he is designing on a high end PC instead of the PS4....

Finish R4 at Oakmont shooting a 74 and +24 for the tournament. So that makes it an average of +6 per round and as bad as it sounds, I'll take it. So difficult to make birdies here and on almost every hole, I felt like an accomplishment if I shot Par. I didn't hate the course despite the high score, but it was one of those golf courses where I had to take an extra minute or two to think things over before I would commit to a shot.

I finished a round of a DSP Society tournament without a disconnect! Yeah!

+2 after the first round at Oakmont after bogeying the final two holes. What a course!

Thanks, Tim. Drained two 25+ foot putts, one to save par and another for bird. Missed one 5-footer, though, so it all balanced.

I love Oakmont because, as 10spro said, you're forced to really think before nearly EVERY shot. Can't consume a vice of choice while playing this course! :)

Oakmont is beautiful... Like a Portuguese Man O' War. Look at it from a distance, but don't touch, or it will hurt you badly. Sheesh.

Finished +6 at Oakmont. I was -2 thru 9 on my final round but back 9 was depressing.
Still pissed that some grid lines just straight lie to you. Don't know if that is a course creator thing or what, but frustrating.

It is definitely a grid rendering issue. It MAY be down to applying AA (antialiasing). I had a putt last night that was about 8 feet and appeared to be virtually straight, but 2 inches downhill. when you see the gridline in front of you and it seems not to be perfectly flat, flip your camera around behind the hole and get it as close to the ground as possible and you might actually see some underlying break. I saw about 4 inches of break and made the putt. Otherwise I would have missed left. Ironically I have only seen this happen on 8-15 foot putts that have R>L break in them.

They need to fix this.

Learned a painful lesson last night: Do not play TGC 2, especially Oakmont, when altered. Shot a 79 in Round 2. Ugh.

I thought you shot a very nice +2 in the first round? Second round brought me fits with all the wind, but yeah it's a very challenging course.

Nice score Truth!

Shooting an 11 at the second hole on Oakmont took me out of contention for 3rd. Fun tourney, but those pin placements in the 4th round were brutal.
