Back in the fold after a weekend away. (and no internet due to storms)

I played the PS4 daily today and had a blast. Let me know if my score doesn't show (-3) as I received an "error" after the round completed.

Vader is handling the XBox One DSP society, but I'm sure he'll see your request in short order and respond to it... welcome aboard!
I approved trane this morning before I left for work, you just have to go back into the DSP society and you will have access to it then.

After a week with Tour clubs I decided to go back to Player clubs, was making the game extremely frustrating, may go back to them at some point in the future but they are just not for me right now.

Thanks fore the responses, I think that is even more infuriating that the devs think that is acceptable. I wonder if they play golf and are any good.

It certainly seems they have lost their way without Anthony Kyne who was their leader and Producer for TGC1....

Three disconnects in one 18-round tournament last night in the DSP Society. Combine that with choppy animation and my sh*tty play, and I was +6 or +7. A double and triple didn't help me, either. :) Great course, though. Fine selection.

Man, I hope HB still is working on the servers. They have improved for most but not all players.

Two things

If my son and I are playing on same console, does he have to play as guest or can he somehow use his profile?

The other is we were playing east Hampton and on 18 he decided for fun to use the 17th green as a shortcut. We were curious as to what would happen if he holed it on 17, so he putted it in and his hole terminated. That was interesting

That's interesting. The gameplay during my PS4 society round yesterday was the smoothest i've played yet. Hopefully, that trend continues for all platforms.

I haven't had issue one for about two weeks now. I connect fine, retain connection fine, and I'm honestly not seeing too many of the gameplay issues being reported. Now, that last one could be due to simply not combing through it as thoroughly as some of you guys, but I'm just enjoying the hell out of it. I did better at victory village than I thought I would, as well. I hope the connectivity issues pan out for you guys that are having it, though.

I've had no connectivity problems for the last week to 10 days when playing individual rounds on various courses. But it rains in Arizona more often than I can keep DSP Society tournament connection.

Patience, patience. :)

Boy Oakmont is no picnic folks. I was playing my career there when Vader popped in for his first round and we hooked up briefly.

Due to an incredible eagle that I managed to pull off at 17th, I was lucky to go Even which I'll take anyday.

But once you see your friends playing and get into the actual tournament, that pressure of the score is just breathing down your neck and it's a great feeling.

My R1 was a +6.

Yeah, that's where I've spent the majority of my time, and I'm not having any connectivity hiccups. Weird.

Im not going through any connectivity problems, but I have one glaring issue. The IUD or HUD seems to disappear or washout when im setting up to swing. So I have to readjust the cameras to read the info then make my decisions accordingly.

Im not saying it's the reason im sbooting +20 in my rounds, but I wish there is a way to have that information displayed at the bottom of the screen along the grass, or, be able to change the color of the text so that it clashes with the sky.

Vader, JC, PK, Divot, anyone, can you help a man out who doesnt have the best eyesight? Thanks in advance.

I'm away from my Rec Room right now, but it sounds like you might have your HUD set up to fade after a few seconds. I've got mine set to do that on purpose. It's a setting in one of the display or control options in your settings. I think one option is to leave it on all the time.

I'm going to be getting hit pretty heavy with work until Sunday night, and I'll be lucky to get in 18 holes until then. I only got 14 holes in on the DSP PC society event tonight before I had to leave it. I'll get caught up Sunday night and I'll be off Monday though.

I have decent eyesight and still struggle. Anytime the HUD info is against white or lighter color its about impossible to read. There is an option to move the info to the hud and not have it show at the marker. This has helped me a bit, still not great.

Today's PS4 1st round was a challenge. I found the greens tricky at med.fast and three putted from 8 feet on the back nine. Narrow fairways in spots as well. Good times!

Thanks for your help. In settings(XBO), I found HUD offset. The default is 80, and mine was on 100. Basically the text was all small and pushed to the middle of the screen. Decreasing that number enlarges text. So I set mine at zero and the text is now readable, but on the left side of the screen, some of the HUD has been chopped off. Buts thats ok, I usually know what hole im on and par.
Dont worry, youre all still safe. I'm still shooting 20 over this is not a performance enhancer and make me shoot 65 every round. It just helps me to enjoy the game better.

So there is a patch for the PC version at least. I don't know what was fixed but I can't putt straight now, every putt registers as a pull for me, It's almost as if they are trying to lose fans.
