In an exciting game marred by defensive break downs Arsenal defeated Real Madrid 3-2. Real rallied from a 2-0 deficit only to have Arsenal win it 3-2 on a goal from Reyes in the 79th minute.

Leebo33's Bayern Munich squad scored 4 goals in a game for the first time in its history, but it took an own goal by Belletti and a very generous penalty call in the box to do it. Giuly started the scoring early for Barca on the first shot of the game sneaking one past Kahn on the far post. Barcelona was in control until Belletti's own goal, which in fairness, was caused by intense Munich pressure and a bad bounce. Makaay scored twice for Bayern on the aforementioned penalty and a brilliant header on one of the game's 14 corners. Lahm and Larsson both scored on similar loose balls in the area.

Good game, Jack. I think it was just my turn to win as it seems like we've been pretty even over the past couple seasons.

Real Madrid held on to scrape another win putting them at 2 for the season. They hosted a tough Juventus lead by Swedish Strike Ibramhimovic..
