Thanks, I never would have found that.TCrouch wrote:As long as you did the quest to be able to feed and train him, your "Pet Training" skill is actually on the GENERAL tab, not your pet tab like the rest of your abilities. Drag it to a hot bar key and press it for your training window. You'll want to train the best Growl you can, since it's the taunt that will hold the aggro for you.

I am currently playing an alliance shaman. This is the first alliance guy I have ever played....
I am enjoying not having to worry about leveling and avoiding pvp play. I HATED just trying to quest and having some guy just come up and kill me(espec when he did not get any honor).
I never enjoyed pvp at all, even killing the other guys. So I am going to stick with windrunner for a while.. my alliance guy is named trysomytuone and is currently in the low teens.
My hunter on the same server(horde) is Moonkey, but I have not played him much yet..

I do know getting that card made a huge difference.
I reopened My account last night...and woah...I was not well before I shook the addiction. After deleting one character I have these toons left on Rexxar...
Corleone LvL 70 NE Hunter
BighornX Lvl 63 Hu Paladin
Spartikus LvL 48 Dr Warrior
Creede LVL 17 Dr Shaman
Zorba LVL 14 NE Druid
Ferragamo LVL 4 Dw Warrior/ Mule
I heard they were working on a new expansion so no time like the present to dive back in.

Pah - doesn't hold a candle to Eve Online, where every day is 'kill or be killed' day. Not nearly as pretty as LOTRO either, beats me why people are still playing it.
"The players come from all over the world, the money from deep underneath the Persian Gulf, but, as another, older City poster campaign put it, this is their city. They may now exist in the global spotlight, but they intend to keep it that way."
Well, instead of WoW I'm giving Age of Conan a try. I'm having an issue getting my WoW account reactivated (some sort of tampering apparently occurred.)
Picked it up last night, was a bit worried about my system requirements (I'm BELOW the minimum on CPU but meet "recommended" for everything else) as I'm using an Acer Aspire 5920G laptop with Windows Vista.
Installed, patched... log in to play and... it's great! Runs fine with "Medium" settings, 1280x800, as long as I turn shadows and grass off. Surfing the web I see there are more optimizations I can do as well. Right now in the starting area up to and including the first town I'm getting generally 25-30fps and it's smooth.
Terry I saw your character's info in your post at OS, I'll create a toon on your server and look you up.
FYI: The Acer Aspire 5920G is a nice laptop for games. Runs COD4 pretty well, and now throwing AoC at it and having it handle it is a nice surprise.
One thing that blew me away about AoC: the box says it needs 32GB (yes GB) of disk space.

Very cool! I went from 1-18 last night, so the levels fly by compared to most MMO's you're probably used to. Glad to hear it plays well. It's a fantastic game that definitely gets better as you go. The early levels are pretty mundane since you don't have many combos or anything else...just basic directional attacks, but I love the thought process of choosing where to attack...left swing, right swing, thrust, etc. Then, when you get combos, it really opens up. Hammer away on the left side in order to use your combos on the right, etc. Great, great game.
Lich King delivers more WoW and in style. It has been hard to get away but Im ready to get back to the 360.

Life I can neglect. It's the other games being neglected which helped me kick the habit the first time.XXXIV wrote:RobVarak wrote:Lock this thread. It's dangerous.![]()
