As I recall, they said the free promo will be starting shortly after the Playstation Store is back up. So, probably a few days to a week longer.

I'm disappointed in the lack of quality demos available.

Ok I say this will all seriousness and not trying to bash Sony. But there are two games that I see that look interesting. That Wizardry game and a game called Under siege but I'm very leary of giving my credit card information again. I wonder how many people feel like I do?

A hacker group has claimed it has attacked the Sony network and stolen more than one million passwords, email addresses and other information. Lulz Security said it broke into servers which run SonyPictures.com.

It said it had hacked into a database that included unencrypted passwords as well as names, addresses and dates of birth of Sony customers. In April, hackers broke into Sony's PlayStation Network and stole data from more than 77 million accounts.

do these hackers do this for the hell of it? or is it a real crime syndicate? I still have an old PS2 around I had not used in years but do remember I had registered for something w/o CC info. Should I be worried? If I had PS3 w/ this stuff going around I'd be getting rid of it.

Word of warning the Store is buggy as s***.

I downloaded my first free game and then tried to download the second, after selecting the second free game thing you need to download before choosing the game the system kept giving me errors. Finally I had to back out to find my option to download free ps3 game #2 had disappeared.

Apparently I am not alone. Answer is here if this happens to you

Thanks Dan thought it was me only. I downloaded Dead Nation and selected the 3 other vouchers so I could download them later and now they're all gone LOL.

Oh and supposedly Sony is letting you download a few movies as rentals which the offer expires 6/5/11 except there are no movies to select, what a mess. I'm actually starting to feel sorry for them.

Infamous took about three hours to download last night, which wasn't too bad considering how busy the servers were. Now I'm going to get Dead Nation.
